This is just touching on what Meg ( psychojello ) was talking about last night, about male/female roles within the Monkees fandom and how she feels a lot of female fans’ work gets overlooked or dismissed.

I’ve only been a solid Monkees fan, and involved in the Monkees fandom, for three years....

Hey everyone! For those of you who are interested, the Smithsonian Channel is running the "Making The Monkees" documentary at 3 am Sunday and again on Monday at 7 pm (ET). In my opinion, this is one of the best documentaries made about The Monkees, so if you haven't seen it, it's definitely worth checking out!

PS Sorry have not been on Tumblr much these last couple of months- I have had a lot going on personally, but I am trying to get back into it!
