After a while of trying to edit and tone it down for Youtube (I don't think the original version was that bad, but I wanted to be safe. You can still see it here and on my other socials), I finally posted it. It's an animation of a mermaid.

I was a little rusty on animating stuffs, so I hope it doesn't look too bad.

I was wondering what if there was an animated adaptation of the Little Mermaid out there that follows the original Hans Anderson tales on how she lost her voice. It doesn't involves black magic, but something a lot more darker.

I used the Golden Times version of the Little Mermaid.

I'm currently open for commission right now, I can do things like drawing and animating something like you see here.

What is your honest opinion towards "Genderbends"?

Well, depends, I'm not really into the ones where they swap the well-known established male characters into females.

But in the case I do like genderswaps, are case like Jellystone.

I just like the idea of SpongeBob, Patrick, Sandy, Squidward and Mindy being some sort of youngish adult gang. I want to imagine them as teens (or youngish adult in Squid's case), aka what they look like in the Patrick Star show.

This is just a random situation without context when I first drew this.

In my mind, I envision the spinoff version of Mindy being a very young, awkward and nerdy looking teen, who also wears brace. I'll be writing more on her eventually. (Please, do NOT bring up her "real" age, because that was actually a huge misinformation based on an old comment, which was the same one when the guy brought up that he sees Patrick as a literal kid, that was later taken as "fact" by pretty much anyone who never did research over it, if anything, she would be closer to SpongeBob and Patrick's age, whatever their age are)

I used my Sandy redesign of the spinoff instead of her actual one, so expect me to use her over the official one whenever there is a Patrick Star show related art.
