Hello! What sort of holiday family traditions do you think the RFA would have had and then carried over to their new families with MC and any kids they have together? his family had most of the normal traditions

it’s so normal you can hardly call it traditions

probably the one quirk it has is that, for some reason, back when he was younger, the youngest family member got to open their presents first

and then the second youngest

and so on

so if he has children, he’s surely going to pass that one on

otherwise, it’s just a measure to see who gets to open presents first- if MC is younger than him he’ll pout because no fair I want to open my presents at the same time but he proposed the idea so…

also he cooks Christmas dinner by himself. no exceptions. no we’re not buying pre-cooked chicken what are we some sort of… people who can’t cook?? he can cook. let him cook for his family

also, the pets WILL be inside when everyone is celebrating. they’re all part of the family and he loves them all as much as his children

the christmas photos are always full of people with dog and cat fur on their jumpers but he’s a vet and loves animals what is to be expected

she has a cafe and she will bake the christmas cookies

no store-bought cookies in this house

like… baking in general is the Tradition

her and MC can bake together and it makes for the perfect bonding time

children love making cookies

so when Christmas comes around the whole family knows Jaehee is going to come home with a big bag of groceries

and she’s gonna plop the bag on the kitchen counter

and that means it’s cookie time

everyone loves it??

Jaehee is in charge of making the batter, MC watches the oven and handles the amount of cookies that can fit in, and the decoration is given to the kiddos

who needs Christmas dinner when you accidentally bake thrice the amount of cookies you thought you’d get

honestly though, Zen realised it’d be a genius idea to mix in Charades to the usual Christmas

it’s amazing

after dinner and the presents, everyone has to play a round of charades because that’s what they do in this household

MC has the biggest laughs of their life because never would they have expected to see the miracle that is their husband acting out certain objects 

you should’ve seen MC and their child try to figure out if Zen was acting as a teapot or an angry elephant it was hilarious

also this is a clear time to reveal the acting blood that runs in the family

everyone agrees Zen is too dramatic with some acting but that adds to the fun

the children know very well that before real Christmas they must endure

As much as Jumin dislikes it, dinner with his father is a must in Christmas- and his children and partner have to attend

it’s not as bad as he puts it tbh

Mr. Han is actually super happy to see his grandchildren and child-in-law???

the kids love their grandpa??

after dinner with his father, Jumin likes to take the family out for a Christmas trip

so they go home, open the presents and rejoice, and then it’s Vacation Time

Elizabeth 3rd is considered part of the family. No questions or arguments. the cat comes with them

hmm… Christmas is nice but he’s not an outside kinda guy

still, he’s happy to celebrate with his family 

in fact he wants to celebrate with his family

he gives the cutest handmade toys as gifts for the kids it’s too cute and honestly he’s an angel

but after that comes

THE MARIO KART TOURNAMENT

he is a responsible adult with responsible traditions he swears

like… everyone just sits down and plays mario kart until Christmas is over

aka the reason why the family sometimes argues (”dad stop throwing blue shells! stop! it’s not funny!”)

also, he and Saeran always win. he doesn’t even let the kids have a chance and chooses rainbow road as the first race
