I was in the middle of drawing your characters and I suddenly remembered fletcher likes abandoned buildings well I was sketching him out, so I started to think about him and the reader exploring one together

Maybe reader dragged him out to one due to rumors about it being haunted and they wanted to check out if it really was haunted but didn’t wanna go by themselves in case something were to happen? Anyways that’s all, I just wanted to write this down real quick and share it before I went back to drawing aaron and fletcher! Hope you’re doing okay! ^^

fletcher would be eager and intrigued if you had come to him to talk about a abandoned building somewhere around this city + you asking him if he could come w/ you!

he's always been bit of a curious person himself so he wouldn't mind coming to this abandoned building in question — he'll put his arm around you as a way to guard you from he senses anything paranormal.

*on call with Aaron* Hey hey hey Aaron wanna here something cool? I woke up in the hospital 20 minutes agoooo.

Aaron lets out a laugh, "Oh love, you're too funny. You should consider becoming a comedian!" His laughter had calmed down before you two went silent, waiting for your response until realization struck on his face. His lips curls into a frown as his grip tightens on the phone. "O- oh.. Oh, you're- serious?"

reader writing a song for aaron but present it to fletcher first to practice.

when aaron stalks them, he saw them singing to fletcher. OML IMAGINE THE DRAMA

I swear aaron would have a light stiff smile as you sing to him the song (though still loves that you singed it for him) the image of you singing to fletch still remains in his mind bothering him.

aaron would be upset if he saw you singing a song he isn't familiar with to fletcher, watching him smile widely in amusement as he's the one to get to hear your beautiful voice besides him. watching you two bond together. he couldn't stand the sight of you two alone together so he stormed off, trying his best to hold back his tears.

when you sing to him, the same song you had sang to fletch earlier — aaron tries to remove that image out of head, trying to keep his composure since he was trying to savior this moment with you.

let's just say few a days later, you'd likely overhear aaron and fletch arguing.

"i- heard y/n singing to you! i didn't you know you two had a thing with each other! you didn't tell me they were gonna stop by your place!"

"i didn't even know you were eavesdropping on us! how is this my problem?! listen, if you have a massive crush on them or whatever, tell that to them in person don't take your jealousy issues out on me dude."

🌻 mun caiden - i love you atomicozzy, but you're playing a dangerous game (which is understandable 😭)

considering those two are quite familiar with each other, mixed signals and jealousy would be everywhere and the more you spend time with them – arguments are doomed to happened.

the tension between aaron and fletcher is pretty awkward, so of course make of it what you will. but if there's a case of that happening, likely fletch will act more harsh towards you while aaron on the other hand is giving him the same treatment as before except being more distant since he's so focused on forming a relationship with you.

causing you to be concerned for how they've been acting lately. you've been especially put off by fletch's behavior, why were the two been so weird? you wondered if you had done something wrong.

you'll have to address the elephant in the room at some point before the situation gets messier.

note: it will not end well but let's pretend otherwise.

by the way this can work both ways, but i thought this was funny since the recent asks reminded me of this. 💔

A panicked expression immediately formed on Aaron's face as he was met with you teary and sobbing. He pulls you into a comforting hug, shushing you. "Shh, shh shh.. It's okay, we'll both find it ourselves alright?"

i read fletcher's info now i am interested, since he is a retail clerk i wonder what he react to the reader that randomly rambles A LOT, idk if that counts to his dislikes on obnoxious people but i am curious what he'll say lmao

oh and i thought about another thing, what if the reader tried to flirt with him but their flirting is much worse than he'll ever expect.

(there is many possible dynamics for him lmao)

considering fletch is somehow easily annoyed, realistically speaking he won't be too fond of you when you first encounter him. (of course depending your interaction w/ him)

he's known to be often blunt and straightforward with customers and even a few of his co workers as well – do expect him give you the cold shoulder. although this doesn't mean he doesn't like your company, infact he finds it a bit cute at times.

if you were constantly rambling about stuff topic to topic he will most likely leave quietly since he has to focus on his work. he can't be caught talking to a customer and not do what he's supposed to do, it would look bad on his part.

you'll have to speak to him either during his break or when he's off from work. fletcher will consider spending some time with you, since he spends majority of his time by himself — why not give it a shot?

and if you're arguably bad at flirting, fletcher will tease you a lot + calling you cute and giving you a little pinch on the cheek as he gives you that amused, playful smile of his.

OOH now im thinking a potential character trying to rival aaron on who will get together with the reader first :0

(plot twist, that character used to be a yandere for aaron but after noticing the reader was close to him they focused on them to potentially sabotage their relationship but ended up falling in love with them)

my mind is on a frenzy with yandere concepts but dont have the strength to write qwq

to answer your second question, aaron would not be able to notice their.. odd behavior since he's so engrossed about his work. usually making other customers' orders but will give them a polite smile every now and then, unaware about their obsession with him.

that was until of course you came, recently moving into this town and now entering inside this building to greet him that endearing smile of yours. you made small talk with him, got your stuff and left. leaving him a lovestruck mess, hoping he would see you again..

and if you did — this would gave him the opportunity to get to know you better, asking a few questions about your likes and dislikes so he'd take notes. of course, if he wanted to win you over he'll have to know so much about you! he even memorized the day you had met him and how you felt worried for him at that moment.

little did he know, there was someone overhearing their conversations every millisecond. lurking at your every move as they felt that painful feeling in their chest — knowing you were getting close with him everyday. they felt jealousy, anger and hurt. they couldn't bare to see him with you. you were just a new customer! what does he even see in you?!

although those negative, hateful feelings were still lingering towards you, eventually you somehow managed to charm the individual without your acknowledgement. you weren't even aware if they even existed and yet they now happened to be head over heels for you. now they understood aaron took a liking towards you. they understood why his cheeks would turn red everytime your hand brushed against his.

it was conflicting for them, at first being in denial since they were just studying what he had liked about you so they can somehow sabotaged your relationship with him. so they could finally have him to themselves, but knowing now they have this warm feeling everytime you're nearby. they didn't want to come to terms with it, after all they were supposed to hate you. you were getting in their way, so why are you making them feel this way? this wasn't fair.

it will take them a while to give in, but once they do expect them to now be even more present in aaron's and your life. giving him a smile as they subtly try to pursue you. of course he gets more suspicious about this considering, he haven't really heard much from them until you two were getting close. although tries to brushes it off, considering it would be ridiculous to interrogate them. they have a life, so he shouldn't feel this cautious. but why did he feel something was.. off?

his paranoia doesn't help either once he learns they're trying to get closer towards you! he realizes they're trying to steal you away from him and of course while he isn't happy about this, he can't be making a scene infront of you two. he can't be making a fool of himself.

he isn't fond of sharing so he will somehow drag you away from them making up excuses as he gives them a forced smile. whatever it takes, he'll not let anyone have you. he knows you aren't safe with anyone else around you. he's only doing what's right for you.

you can probably tell i love this concept sm, i can already imagine the two throwing hands while reader has confused and worried expression on their face 💔

another concept, psychic reader that reads aarons mind and finds out (almost immediately) they have an unhealthy obsession with them, leading them to avoid them quickly.

and they accidentally said out loud when trying to order like:

Aaron: what do you want to order?

then suddenly said "you need therapy" accidentally, he's gonna be so confused wondering what he did wrong lmao (though i think reader apologized immediately after seeing the confused look on his face)

aaron would be so confused and even worried – those thoughts roaming inside his head, waiting you to place your order. have you found out his concerning history of past relationships? the crimes he had committed? or the pictures he had taken of you without your acknowledgement?

what made you think and abruptly say that he needed therapy? not that you're wrong or anything but he's immediately wary about this.

he clears his throat, smiling. you had noticed how stiff he was standing and the nervous expression on his face. "... well, um! is there anything i could get for you?" aaron asked once again, dismissing your frank and sudden comment.

aaron shook his head dismissively, "no love you'll burn yourself! i don't want you getting hurt okay? even if it's just one single poke." he said, moving the candle inches away from you before giving you a small smile. "although if it makes you feel any better we can just stare at it.."
