These are my absolute favourite 'to die for' shoes.  They are vintage Mary Quant, faux fur, leopard print stilettos.  I bought these for £3.75 in a charity shop years and years ago.
I call them my pub shoes as I wouldn't like to walk very far in them but can manage a sassy little strutt to the pub and back...

Sophie & Gareth - May 2012
Sipping Pretty had the pleasure of supplying not only our crockery & linen napkins but our Remington typewriter and vintage Dutch tandem to the wedding of Sophie & Gareth.
The 50's style wedding was the perfect back drop for our props and the attention to detail that went in to the day was noted and saved in our 'ideas' file.  You may well find me cutting out felt hearts for teabags very soon...

When my friend visited me today she gave me this gorgeous cup and saucer from her stash of vintage goodies.  It's so sweet.  Becca is a vintage lover like myself and has a great group to join called Love! Love! Love! Vintage on Facebook if you like vintage...

Meg Jenkins Photography
Over the last few years I have met so many lovely, enthusiast people either in the Wedding industry, like myself, or collectors and fans of vintage memorabilia.  One such person has been Meg Jenkins.  Meg is a local wedding and events photographer and her enthusiasm and support has been invaluable for me.  And her photos are gorgeous...

In the beginning...
Three years after the initial 'vintage crockery hire' seed was sown during a friendly gathering around my kitchen table, we are here.  Sipping Pretty.
My table was over-flowing and groaning with a collection of vintage crockery hastily dragged out from it's storage space under the bed when a passing comment from a friend set me thinking.... if I loved it there must be others out there that would love it too.
And it seems I was right...

I am so in love with this handsome beast.  A 1989 Gazelle Dutch tandem.  I hire 'him' out for events as a prop.  He weighs a bit and only has 3 gears but he makes me smile every time I see him in a photo.

This is the latest (but not the last) purchase for Sipping Pretty.  We've been unable to stop at collecting vintage crockery and have extended our 'wish' list to include stunning, quirky props to spoil you with.

Meg Jenkins and I spent an idyllic couple of sunny days together surrounding ourselves with crockery and fields (and an amazing camera).  Big, big thanks to Meg for her creative input, ever-lasting energy and enthusiasm and fantastic photo's.
