it is has always been said “First Impressions Are Most Important.” And it seems a Particular, new student ( @eilginn ) decided to go In with a bang, rather than Out. Columbia University has never been a stranger to the Odd Spectacle, but the recent Chaos has left Tongues wagging in ways that few could have predicted. Who would have thought—a Medical Science Student being the cause of a near Fatal Accident? Not saving many Lives there, I would say. They have found themselves at the center of an Event that has all but rocked the very Foundations of the Dormitory. Reports of a minor Explosion, followed swiftly by a rather Dramatic fire alarm, have resulted in Damages most Inconvenient and an Evacuation more urgent than any Exam Preparation.

Our Cloaked Scholar, with their Fascination for Unsuccessful Remedies and Leeches, or Herbs to Snort through a rather Unfashionable mask, has left a trail of Singed Furniture and Scorched Reputations in their Wake. Whether it was an Experiment gone Awry or something far more Mysterious, one can only Wonder. Columbia’s brightest Minds may be Versed in the ways of Science, but it seems our plague doctor is playing with Fire in more ways than one. I, Lady Whistledown, will be most curious to see if they can recover from this blazing misstep—or if their next lesson will be in the art of damage control.

Yes, my dearest readers, the captain - now professor - Nahla Elmaleh ( @explorinaireoftheseas ) has emerged triumphant, standing alone at the top of this most perilous game.

Many could have foreseen such an outcome when the competition first began. From her very first round, the pirate defied all competitors, swashbuckling her way through the ranks with cunning and audacity. While others relied on discipline, strategy, or sheer strength, our daring captain turned the rules on their heads, embracing chaos and risk with a devilish grin. It was this very flair for the unexpected that allowed her to outwit the stoic samurai, outlast the war-hardened veterans, and, in the final round, conquer the unshakable Inuit man.

Her victory was not one of brute force, nor was it a feat of patience.
