What was your first role when you came to work in the van Zieks household?
Salutations.
I first came to House van Zieks to work as a nursemaid. I suppose the Lord and Lady must have found my services satisfactory.

Has anyone in the manor made you consider hiding itching powder in their sheets, and if so, what was their crime?
Good evening.
Hm. Yes. This rather unbecoming "gentleman" paid a visit to the Lord and Lady van Zieks once many years ago. His harassment of a servant girl drove her to flee during supper, and I later found her sobbing in the stables. While itching powder was briefly entertained as a punishment, my final decision was something with a bit more bite.

-Log
Greetings.
But of course, Miss Log. You may pay a visit any time you wish, and I would gladly show you around His Lordship's library. You may even pick out a book or two.

Did you ever suspect either van Zieks brother of secrets that eventually proved to be true?
How do you do.
Yes, of course. The longevity of a chamberlain's tenure depends greatly on their ability to perceive what others might miss, and I have served longer than most.

Do you like dogs?
Good evening.
Most assuredly! I have a deep fondness for all creatures of the animal kingdom, and no hounds should be held accountable for the shortcomings of their masters.

Hello, Miss Log.
Gracious, did you and Mr. Phoenix happen to be infected by the same virus, by any chance? You are of course welcome to treat yourself to a blanket of your own next time you visit, dear. Get well soon.

Thank you, Mr. Phoenix. I'm sorry to hear about your illness. I would gift you a blanket, if I had known where to send it. You may take one of your choosing with you home if you come visit the manor sometime.

Good day, Madame Sophia.
I recently noticed that you followed me, and I have yet to reach out to you and greet you. So, hello! Welcome to tumblr! I want to thank you for all the hard work you’ve done to keep the manor running, the cleanliness of every single room I’ve been, and an apology for falling asleep so often at places that aren’t really meant to be slept on. I hope you have a good day, and a good evening when it rolls around.
-Ryunosuke Naruhodo/[ @ryunosuke-naruhodo-blog ]
Hello, Mr. Naruhodo. Thank you for the gracious welcome.
Don't you worry, dear. It's only a pleasure to see more surfaces used around the manor; it makes the effort of seeing to their cleanliness much more worthwhile.

It is snowing.
I shall make hot cocoa for the children, I think.
...I hope there are still enough blankets left for everyone.

That is quite nice of you. I shall enjoy learning how to make braised beef ribs in the style of the very greatest—and dearest—chef in London.

What's the weirdest thing ever brought back to the manor?
Hello.
I'm afraid I cannot answer your inquiry with full sincerity, as I am duty-bound to respect the will of His Lordship above all else.
However, I will tell you what takes second place on the list: A gentle and beautiful young woman brought here by His Lordship once in his youth. At the time, it was perhaps not as "strange" as one might consider it today; and yet, looking back, the occasion does stand out rather vividly in my memory.

Well... She left some rouge behind, barely used and with rather a nice packaging. I still have it, in fact, in case she were to come back for it. She never did, however.
As for the scent... Flowers, I believe; perhaps lilac.
Is that helpful to you, Miette dearest?

Apologies, dearest. Generally, I don't tend to smell His Lordship's visitors.

You know Lord van Zieks better than anyone. Who would you say is his favourite, out of all the other residents at the manor?
Good day to you.
Apologies, but any inquiries to His Lordship are best addressed directly to him at @barok-vanzieks on Tumblr, or via letter to the manor. As intimately as I know His Lordship, it's not my place to divulge his personal thoughts and feelings; especially to a faceless inquisitor.

I appreciate your dedication, dearie. With you spearheading this mission, I feel confident that my blankets will come to good use.

Good morning, Miss Sophia. It is great to see you on tumblr! Is it true you made all the blankets in the manor? There is such a wide verity, and each made with skill. Thank you again for the extra last night - it was just what I needed.
Have a good day, Kazuma Asogi /@kazuma-asogi-blog
Good morning, Mr. Asogi.
Thank you for the warm welcome, dear. Yes, I have indeed produced every single blanket you may find within the manor. I already knew how to sew when I first began my work in this household, of course, but three decades of dedicating my spare time to learning how to knit, crochet, weave, felt, quilt, knot and embroider has indeed produced a rather large quantity of blankets. More than anyone in this manor could really use, in fact. You may feel free to take whichever one you like and bring it home, or perhaps gift it to someone.
His Lordship does prefer some of the blankets more than others, but as long as you do not take the ones that are either kept in his room or that seem remarkably more worn than others, you shall not need to worry.
I wish you a good day, dear.

How do you feel about Klint van Zieks?
Good day.
His Lordship is quite fond of his older brother. Hence, I will gladly undertake the necessary efforts to ensure that vengeful poisoners find no place among the manor's staff.
