Last night while watching Supernatural, I found it weird that that’s not how John would usually talk to the boys. He would criticize them and tell them to kill everything that’s not human. But then I thought, dean has been desiring a dad that would be proud of them so maybe that’s the version of John that he brought back?

It’s been years.

It’s been years. Surely, after all this time, it shouldn’t mean so much. Surely by now, Cas thinks, after so long, his feelings should have cooled. His heart should have steadied. His hands shouldn’t yearn.

Years of friendship. Years of nothing passing between them but words and glancing touches and long, long looks.

By now, he should be resigned to it, even if he can’t be happy about it.

But he isn’t. He can’t stop it - the feeling that broke his angelic programming, set fire to his hard drive, rewired him in every way. The feeling that burns in his chest every time he looks at Dean - looks at the back of his neck and the crook of his collarbone and the lines on his hands and the bend of his wrists. The feeling that turns every look into an ache. The feeling that he fell for.

One day, Cas hopes, he’ll press his lips to the lines on Dean’s hands. Slowly. Breathe out against them. Run his mouth over the warm skin. Some days, it’s all he thinks about.

One day. But today, he’ll just let his heart pound out its fury and need against his ribcage because Dean touched his shoulder, and he’ll swallow down the rush of good pain, and he’ll say nothing.

It’s been years. But he still yearns - god, how he does.

Well then, let me show you, because that’s what I do for a living.

Right now, it’s this time of the year, and the little ones have just freshly hatched:

You’ll notice they’re still blind and naked when they hatch. So I make them little coats to keep them warm during their first winter:

See how they happily line up to put them on:

See? Better. Now they’re ready to go and explore the world.

And if they make it through the winter and we take good care of them, they will grow up to be strong and wise like their older fellows:

A few months ago, I was crying so I laid down and hugged my cat. She didn’t complain once like she usually does when I hug her. She just laid there until I left

how can ppl say cats dont have feelings like. 

when my cat got deadly sick she refused to eat a single thing and it had been days but when i started crying she ate just a little bit, and upon seeing how happy it made me, kept doing it whenever she could.

now whenever im sad or crying she finds wherever i am with a mouthful of food and eats the pieces one by one, every time looking up at me making sure i was watching her eat it all because she knew it made me happy. and it DOES make me happy
