You know exactly why! There’s two reasons: I greatly enjoy drawing the things that I DO enjoy about Sky, such as the lore, making my own lore, and the characters. That and sometimes I actually go log on and just meditate by myself and with other players when I’m not doing any of the grinding and repetitive stuff.

Negotiating what to do during the Days of Love.

For the record, Teth’s excitement over pancakes is just an inside joke that my friends and I have. And since then, its become canon here.

I can’t keep this to myself any longer. Aurora has a gorgeous voice, is such a lovely person, and I like some of her music myself, but I’m becoming afraid that her presence is starting to overshadow Sky itself, even if she IS the one singing the intro and outro of the game. So many people are only asking things like when Aurora will return and if we’ll get more seasons with her, and that’s just not the reason why I play Sky. Sky is not entirely about her.

It’s like Taylor Swift saying that she’s worried that her presence at the Super Bowl is going to overshadow the Chiefs and the game itself.

Listen, I do not mind at all having the concert reopen at any time or as many times as people want. I just really don’t think we need new Aurora content like events, seasons, cosmetic, and such. I’m worried that Aurora, her fans, and her popularity is overpowering the original game. If Aurora gets more stuff, then I want a new episode of Moomin and for the Little Prince and another Sanrio character to return as well. I also just don’t like the idea of people treating this real life person with flaws as a goddess, both in real life and in the game.

This is going to get me into trouble with a lot of people, but I’m at the point where I don’t care anymore.

I see a lot of people wishing that dying hair would become a feature in Sky. But they don’t seem to realize that doing so would heavily disrupt the game’s character design aesthetic. Even if there are already many cosmetics that kind of don’t fit the game’s aesthetic that well.

It was decided since the very beginning that the hair of all characters is supposed to be white, and the color white fits well with the world, the concept of light and rebirth, and compliments the other creatures.

Why am I making such a big deal about this? Don’t ask why. You tend to notice these kinds of things when you’re an artist.

(For the record, this DOES NOT mean you aren’t allowed to draw your sky characters with different colored hair. That’s literally what fan-art is for, and the internet seems to have seriously forgotten about that rule.)

I managed to accidentally soft-lock myself in Sky.

Apparently, if a spirit is out of reach during a cutscene, you can’t activate the emote and you’ll just stay standing there forever…

It all started from a sky-related dream I had about a year and a half ago.

Everyone was comparing the Radiance Deer mask to the Gratitude Deer mask and Anubis mask.

But I’m surprised no one said anything about Radiance and Gratitude possibly being related.

I also just wanted an excuse to draw Enchantment pushing Prophecy.

We all know that the Sky community likes to make fun of Tsadi for wearing heels.

But what if wearing heels were the secret to his success?

I wanted to dye the whole cape, not just the tail…

Yeah, I was right to not get my hopes up about being able to dye cosmetics. Half of my wardrobe can either not be dyed or has little to no change at all.

Regardless, I’m still excited to see where this new season goes. I’m also happy that butterflies and the butterfly emote now have new uses, as well as having new materials to collect.
