The robin, the robin she sings of tranquil light of morning sun, dappling off lake waters and breathing into my silent space. A space streaming and teaming with mother earth's love.

‘When down the stormy crescent goes,
a light before me swims,
Between dark stems the forest glows,
I hear a noise of hymns…’

Alfred Lord Tennyson wrote that "the poet's mind is holy ground." He knew that the poet's portion is to be
"Dower'd with the hate of hate, the scorn of scorn, the love of love."

What if writing your story was simply the act of forgetting your past. Write the story you want to be now.

Fear is an evaluation. A false evaluation of our circumstances. Fear is a feeling and it is temporary. The opposite of fear is not love. The opposite of fear is relief. Love is not a feeling, it is a state of being. Peace is a state of being. We want to let feelings move through us like clouds across the sky. Practice embracing the feeling of fear like the parent to our inner child. Tell your inner child it is real. Yes, embrace it, acknowledge it, let it feel every aspect of that fear. Then take your arms around that imaginary child before you and visualize holding that child, saying, "Let's let this go, let's release this fear; free it. Love it, and free it with thankfulness. Now bless it. It will take about 90 seconds and that fear will dissipate. Because it is temporary- as all feelings are -fear cannot dominate us.
With the feeling of relief we are then open to experience peace and joy. And that is the Veil of Love. Pure unconditional love. This is the state of beingness that we truly are, each and every one of us.

Time stops when we pause in gratitude. A powerful moment; we stop aging.

Where there is space, thoughts are free to roam. Remember to be in the world, not of the world. Humans are riddled with the disease of separateness, no matter how close they are living to one another. With the gift of space, we discover in the silence there is a connectedness to All There Is, and All That We Are. We are never truly separate from anything.

Oh, we wait. We wait for the next TikTok, the next fashion trend, the next meal, the next night's sleep, the next dramatic news. Impatience is the death of life. We forget to wait before someone is finished eating before intruding our needs upon their digestion. We forget to wait to give our response when someone is still speaking. We forget to wait and listen to the silence of our own space before turning our phones on. We forget to wait and simply observe the tendrils of hair glistening in the sun from across the street. We forget to wait before we enter a building to listen to the robin on the corner. Let's not forget to wait on love. Let's not forget to wait on passion. Let's not forget to wait for the Universe to construct a better outcome than we, in our limited visions, believe we need to control to make us happy.
