A while ago I was taking a picture of this fish I saw in mirror lake and while I was going through my photos to do a little spring cleaning I zoomed in and saw the man for the first time. My friend was actually the one who spotted him and told me to submit this on here. Shout out to Alex

I saw one of the previous submissions on this page was found through a google search and tried to do some research for myself. While looking on google found that if you zoom in close you can see him in this photo.

The man the myth the legend

So I have never actually seen this man but I live in Rosebrooks in South and I have been taking the long way to all my classes to walk by mirror lake in order to see him. Does anyone have any advice on what times are best to go to see him? I have been losing sleep and neglecting my work because of this.

Here is a photo taken by a student’s drone while trying to get shots of the campus from birds eye view. They said that they could not get too close without risk of losing the drone but there is clearly a fire that someone has set on the island. Is this the mirror lake man setting up a campfire to cook the fish he catches? Comment your guesses as to what he is doing below!

Hello Fellow Mirror Lake man fans! We at Mirror Lake Man UConn wanted to inform you newcomers the story behind the man we all have grown to love. While we don’t know who he is, the rumor is that he was a student that had gotten too overwhelmed with the work load here and did not want to face his parents who were paying thousands of dollars for him to attend here. So he did what all of us wish we can do. He ran away from his problems and swam to the island that is located at the center of our beloved Mirror Lake. Though this is all speculation we have many sightings from people on our team as well as our fellow students. Feel free to submit your own sightings or just follow us along on our journey of finding out who this man is and his story.
