The wizard dusted herself off before looking around the room.  Maybe the window could help...or something in the desk?  What a funky office.

Despite being somewhat capable with what most people would call necromancy, watching someone with more control do it was an entirely new sight. The last time she had attempted anything of the sort, it was with the help of pure terror and Wrathia, and of course, everyone had recently perished. 

It could have been the fact that she was really trying to stay out of sight too, just wanting to observe and to not get anywhere near the other, but Ava wasn’t inclined to leave her place. They risen looked much more intimidating too, and she’s got the limbo lenses perched atop her head just in case she wants to look through them later. For the time being, watching the woman work was enough. Every so often, the Vengess mirrors the hand movements, trying to commit any lines or circles to memory as she does so for later. 

   Finally, some time for Autumn to work on her own.  While her tower was fairly remote, she still received the occasional visitor asking for one favor or the other.  She wasn’t keen on declining any requests nowadays, lest one of the humble farm folk turn her in for her magic.  It was just easier to bring back the old cat, or have one last talk with an old grandmother, or something of the like.  

Crazy, how she’d fallen into something so...mundane.  

As Autumn continued the ritual -- which was something she could likely do in her sleep now -- she hummed a little to herself.  Slowly but surely, the pile of bones in front of her were carefully put back into the form of a skeleton.  The drow readjusted her glasses, and grinned at the bony figure.  

“ Right then, you’ve got some cleaning to do, “ announced the Lich before sending the figure off in the direction of a tree.

   It was hard for Lucretia to say the truth -- and when was it ever easy for her? -- as Ava sat across from her.  Hadn’t she asked the same of her friends a long time ago?  Back when she thought she had all the answers, she’d set her plan in motion when no one backed her.  She was still paying for trying to fix everything, and Ava was so close to finding that out now.

Well, one thing was certain to her: she had to get better security.
