In the last few years I've been in the dating pool, ppl have been flakey, but the last 6mo (when I had stated on my profiles I'm interested in something more long term) has had an all-time high in flaking on dates. It is ASTOUNDING how many (mostly men) people will plan a date with me and then back out last minute. I don't even start getting ready for a date anymore unless they confirm. Dating apps truly are the trenches but asking people out irl hasn't been successful either. Sometimes I wonder if Midwestern men have some sort of brain disease. What are people doing in other cities? What are your experiences with finding love in 2024/2025 ?
