Is anyone else's best friend's hear me outs so absolutely outrageous to the point where you have to question their sanity and whether or not they should be allowed to be a functioning member of society?
Or is it just me and I made the wrong decision like 8 years ago.

Okay, so you know how Zoya Nazyalensky [how tf do you even say that] started as a Squaller and later gained the abilities of all Etherealk. What if that happened in a different order?
If someone had all the abilities of all Corporalki?
[Basic idea]
● Corporalki can heal, heartrend and tailor.
○ Eg.) Nina, as Heartrender she healed Inej + tailored Matthias.
● only, Nina can't heal very well, her tailoring is good, but not amazing.
○ isn't a trained Healer, but manages to care for Inej after she was stabbed.
• Tailors Muzzen to look just like Matthias, complete with the injuries Matthias sustains in his Hellshow fight with the wolves, and also makes it look like he has firepox.
● since Corporalki are only somewhat trained in tailoring and have separate training for Heartrenders and Healers.
● but what if there was a character that was trained fully in all three areas?
● what would they even be called?
○ Alina + the Darkling were called Sun Summoner + Shadow Summoner [Etherealki are loosely referred to as summoners], but that isn't the case for Corporalki, they are referred to as what type they are, and the only special cases are Corpsewitch's.
● more importantly, how powerful would they have to be/how long would they have to train for it to be possible?
○ all Corporalki spend their first two years of education in common training before branching off to become either Heartrenders or Healers.
● I can imagine someone having the power to do this having four separate identities they tailor themselves to fit.
○ Eg.) A normal civilian, a Tailor, a Heartrender, and a Healer. One is their real face, and the rest are fake people they made up.
Idk I'm just bored here.
I might update this when I have a better idea of what it would be like.

My headcannon for Fjerdan is that it's the Great Britain of the Grishaverse.
Like there's no way Fjerda didn't take over almost everything at some point. Why else is everywhere so hostile to Grisha?? Fjerda prob started that and spread the idea everywhere.
Just hear me out.
Grisha in Fjerda are considered witches and are hunted by drüskelle.
Grisha in the Wandering Isle are killed for their blood, which is considered a cure-all.
Grisha in Shu Han are experimented upon, being used for projects such as the khergud program.
I'm seeing a not so great pattern for Grisha here.
There is no way Fjerda didn't take over basically everywhere. ((I'm gonna say they didn't go to Novyi Zem, the Southern Colonies, or Kerch—they did all that selling Grisha to brothels themselves. Modern corruption or smt.))
Why did the Darkling do all that stuff with the Fold?? Cause he wants the Grisha to be free and planned to use the Fold as leverage against those people who built the pyre—where they burn Grisha. ((Fjerdan thing to do. Also, I may or may not have gotten that wrong, I don't remember why tbh))
I mean, we don't know shit about the Bone Road ((yes that's a place check the map, and no I didn't know about it for an embarrassingly long time since I'm blind)), and because we don't, I'm just gonna say they're still Fjerdan territory, even if no one cares cause it's just some small ass islands.

Lil rant about the Outsiders
(Just finished the book and omfg)
Soo, in English, we are reading the Outsiders as a novel to study and all that.
In classic me fashion, I decided to read ahead because everyone was slow asf.
I didn't even realise how far ahead I really was until the rest of my class was reading out the poem Nothing gold can stay, by Robert Frost, that Ponyboy tells Johnny about in the Church
WHILE I WAS READING THE PART WHERE JOHNNY DIES AND TELLS PONYBOY TO STAY GOLD—
Also can we talk abt the ending, omfg why was that amazing.
It broke my heart that Ponyboy threatened those Socs' with a broken bottle and they knew he would actually do it.
When back with Cherry, he dropped the broken bottle that was given to him when those Socs' came by and told her he wouldn't hurt anyone with it.
And JOHNNY, he was my favourite character, and when he died, omg I nearly threw my book across the room, whyy.
But it was so sweet that Johnny had the nurse give Pony the copy of Gone with the Wind back and the note. THE NOTE—

I would LOVE to see chapter 23 of Crooked Kingdom in Kaz's POV. Near the end, there's a scene where Kaz calls Jesper, Jordie by mistake, and I need to know what he was thinking then.
Name a chapter of Six of Crows or Crooked Kingdom and which different character's POV you'd want to read of the chapter

One thing I don't really like about Powerless is that the fact that Paedyn hates the term, 'Thank the plague.' Is barely brought up. It was mentioned in chapter one when Adena used it, and Paedyn had a physical reaction to the words.
"Thank the Plague you didn't get caught, Pae." As soon as the familiar phrase slips past her lips, my jaw sets instinctively while hers falls open mid-bite.
My fingers drift to the thick ring on my thumb, spinning it mindlessly while I muster a weak smile. This topic is one we typically try to avoid, though it's my fault the subject became suddenly awkward to speak of in the first place.
I might be forgetting something, but I don't remember that ever really coming up again. Whenever another character used the phrase, the story just moved on like it doesn't bother Paedyn as much as it does.
It might be because she trusts Adena enough to be open with her about her dislike for the phrase, and she doesn't feel like she needs to hide her reaction to it.
Maybe that's why it's like that, but wouldn't we at least know Paedyn is uncomfortable after the phrase was used in her thoughts while reading her perspective of the story?
The idea of thanking the Plague that killed thousands of Ilyans makes me lose my appetite for even sticky buns. Thanking the thing that caused so much pain and death and discrimination.
I get that it might be a little annoying for Paedyn to bring up the deaths that the plague caused every time it's used, but it jsut feels weird to me it was mentioned so little considering how common it's used.
Again, I might be forgetting something, but the only other time it was brought up just how much she doesn't like to thank the plague is when she's standing in front of the king and forces herself to say it.

Six of Crows Aliases
Pt 2. The Wraith of 5th Harbour—
[Pt 1. Kaz Brekker—Demjin.]
[Pt 2. Inej Ghafa—The Wraith.]
The harbour's ice cold, unforgiving waters recalled Inej's fate—thrown, drowned, reborn.
A past almost too similar to the one she had to thank for her newfound ability to stop the slaver ships even entering the harbour.
Inej Ghafa lingered in the shadow-cloaked alleys of Ketterdam. Whispered rumours of her supernatural presence soared through the city of Ketterdam like crows.
A ghost among the living.
On the edge of Fifth Harbour, she saw Kaz Brekker, the demon she was bound to, the demon hiding in a human body. He had gave her the power she had to sink slaver ships, and in turn, she did jobs with and for him.
His presence was as steady as the midnight tide, command wrapped in control. Inej stayed invisible, slipping through the world unnoticed. Brekker looked different in the dim glow, something otherworldly about his silhouette, something much worse than he let on, of course, she knew what he really was, but there was so much she didn't know as well, could he even be more cruel than he always was?
“Wraith,” Brekker murmured, his voice as rough as stone against stone, both distant and near. They worked for different causes, yet their paths crossed with unspoken understanding.
She made her approach, using the dim light of Ketterdam as a cover to any onlookers that may still be wandering the streets this late at night, a plan manifesting with every motion.
Brekker's eyes flicked in her direction before she even had the chance made herself know, though she knew he couldn't see her. His awareness transcended sight, an uncanny knowledge of her presence, possibly because of their deal, and possibly because they were just about as human as each other.
“Another ship tonight?” he asked.
If anyone was around, they would think Brekker was utterly out of his mind. His gaze swept the horizon of 5th Harbour as he made his way towards Inej.

'I would have come for you. And if I couldn't walk, I'd crawl to you, and no matter how broken we were, we'd fight our way out together-knives drawn, pistols blazing. Because that's what we do. We never stop fighting.'
I need to see if the Six of Crows fandom is still alive so...
No mourners.

Six of Crows Aliases
Pt 1. The Demon of the Barrel—
[Pt 1. Kaz Brekker—Demjin]
[Pt 2. Inej Ghafa—The Wraith]
In the depth of night, Brekker descended the stairs of the Slat, making his way outside and through the not so clean and dimly lit streets of the Barrel and towards 5th Harbour, his mind a flurry of schemes. He navigated the alleyways, each step punctuated by the tap of his cane.
"Brick by brick," he whispered as he passed by the Emerald Palace, Pekka's gambling den, the promise of revenge woven deep into his words and behaviour. It wasn't just about power; it was personal. Pekka Rollins would pay for what he had taken from him.
Well, what he had taken from Rietveld, this was not Kaz at all, rather a vengeful demon that had found a young boy washed up on a harbour of Ketterdam, freshly dead from Firepox, had taken his body and inhabited it ever since. He had become Kaz in a sense, the first thing he saw as he woke, in a physical human form at last, was a piece of machinery in the harbour, 'brekker', it's how he came up with his new allias, cutting ties with the identity the previous owner of this body had.
His thoughts drifted to Kaz's brother, a memory burdened by loss and rage
Humans were so emotional. It was entertaining. The thought almost brought a grin to his face.
Since the boy had been freshly dead, the memories and plans of vengeance newly thought of before he passed, they had become permanent in his mind, the only real evidence of who Kaz had been before losing his body him. The demon hiding beneath his skin, the real entity controlling him, understood that wrath better than anyone.
"Sacred is Ghezen, and in commerce, we see His hand." he muttered under his breath as the memory came back in his mind. It was a gruesome and frankly disgusting thing to have engraved into his mind, no one wants to have that stored permanently in the back of their mind.
If only Ghezen would grant my wishes.
Brekker thought bitterly. He was never one for religious prays, of course not. But if there was a divine being he could almost respect, it would be Ghezen, the Kerch God of industry, commerce, and trade.
Was mild respect not enough for these demanding deities?
It had become another habit from his bodys previous owner. The citizens of Kerch widely worshipped Ghezen, as had Rietveld before he was ever on that sickboat.
Instead, he simply took what he wanted and moved along. In this case, it was the form of a boy who had plots of vengeance too grand for him to even attempt. Unfortunately for Rollins, Brekker had no intentions of letting them go to waste.
Brekker continued through the streets towards the harbour, much to his annoynce, the day he rose from the dark waters of the sickboat was refreshed in his mind.
It was displeasing at best, infuriating at worst.
I should have left him on the docks for another few hours, now I have to live with his little sob story forever.
Nevertheless, Brekker embraced his forgotten mortality, draped in a human guise, fooling even himself at times. The emotions and experiences were deeply woven into the boys mind, an unforgettable itch he could never quite scratch, almost like he was the one that had experienced it.
