(( Some big news; Please read ))

I've lost all motivation to run this blog.

You know the saying "you only get out of something what you put into it"? I feel that's kind of true here. If I don't put into this blog a lot of work and RPing and stuff, I'm not going to get any enjoyment out of it. Unfortunately, I just don't see it happening.

I started this RP blog last August, when I didn't have to worry about school, but since then, it's taken up a lot of my time. School has, I mean. I don't have the time now to really manage one RP blog well, let alone two. I have other things going on in my life right now as well that also require my attention (i.e. preparing for college, BetterExplorer, etc.); add it all up and there just isn't much time for me. That fact, and also just the fact of what this blog has been through... and thus, my motivation is just gone.

So I've decided the best option is to no longer actively update this blog.

The decision wasn't easy. This blog and the people I've met and interacted with have really changed my experience on Tumblr and with roleplaying. You might even go as far as to say my life has been changed by this blog. This blog has a lot of memories, and I've had a lot of great, fun times on here... but things do change, and have changed.

I also didn't want to leave the Vocaloid RP community. But I've come to see that the community has moved on without me (which I'd expect nothing less), and, honestly, overall, my interest in Vocaloid has been waning. My role in the Vocaloid fandom overall has changed as well from being strictly a consumer to also becoming a producer as well.

So... this is it. Now what? ... I still have my other RP account, squidgirldegeso.tumblr.com, where I roleplay the anime character Squid Girl. (On an added note, it's kind of hard to switch characters and personalities when you go from one blog to the other.) If any of you follow me over there, I'd be more than happy to RP with you.

Is it possible I'll ever come back here? ... Maybe, but not very likely at all. Otherwise, if anyone else does want to become Mini Miku and keep this blog going, please don't be afraid to contact me.

Again, this was a difficult decision for me. I wish everyone the best of luck in their future endeavours. ))

(( Post 700 was a reply to an RP with leftblondsinger, so... that means that this will be post 701!

Going on hiatus for 2 months really changed a lot. When I returned, I had lost practically all of the RP partners I had, and those I'm still with, aren't as active, or our relationships had been strained.

And that would've been fine if I had new RP partners that wanted to RP with me. But... that was the thing... I found people that were willing to RP with me, but a few replies in, they didn't reply until I reminded them (and still, some took a long while to reply, and when they did, it was confusing in terms of the story), and I didn't want to sit here and constantly send out messages like "Hey, you know we have an RP going on and it's your turn to reply"...

... Anyway, so all in all... even looking at this blog, worsened my mood. And the fact that it worsened my mood made me feel even worse. Because the thing is, I love Mini Miku. I love being here and being her and just... seeing the world through her naive, innocent mind. I loved just everything about it.

But it's hard to RP when you don't really have anyone that seems interested in RPing with you... I was extremely close to deactivating or abandoning this blog. I just didn't know what else to do.

I ended up making a post on my Squid Girl RP blog, which I had opened only a few months ago, and two people there offered to RP with me and do a shout-out to their followers and stuff... I didn't want them to do something they didn't want to do... but that little bit gave me enough strength to keep me going. Those two have been already thanked, but I think they deserve another one.

Since then, I've found a few people that have been RPing with me, and I'm still trying to find more RPers, but overall, I'm happy to see this blog get a bit more activity now...

Still... I just... I don't know... I honestly have no clue what's in the future for this blog... It depends upon how much activity I get here, and how much other RPers even seem to want me around...

Anyway, I do want to thank the people that are RPing with me now, and giving me the strength I need to keep this blog going on: leftblondsinger, leeklover, and carrotqueengumi. Honestly, without you three, this blog just wouldn't be here anymore.

In fact, I'd just like to thank everyone whose interacted with me since my return from hiatus. Whether you did little more than like one of my posts, or you've RPed with me a little bit, every little bit helps. It really does.

Hopefully, more things'll start happening from here onward, and I'll make more friends and RP with more people, and this blog will keep going.

EDIT: totally forgot to mention over-god-escuro, or whatever his new URL is (that's super long and impossible to remember)... He deserves to be up at the same spot as leftblondsinger, leeklover, and carrotqueengumi. ))

"Hmm, I suppose," Mini Miku replied. She didn't do much in the way of collaboration with other artists when she was a singer... and when she did, it was earlier on in her career... "Well, maybe, if I'm lucky, I'll be able to work with her." Mini Miku stated hopefully. It was rather obvious that she was a big fan of Miku...

"Me? Sing? I haven't sung in so long..." What was it? Eight years now? The only singing she did now was more just for fun, and never anything she took seriously, or did professionally... "Are you sure? I'm probably not as good as I used to be," she chuckled. What kind of song would she sing anyway?

Mini Miku blinked and thought about what he said. Too little that she didn’t see him? She looked around herself to see if there’s anything else she was too small to see…

She turned back to the boy who just introduced himself. “Len? Well, nice to meet you too,” she said, returning the smile. She felt like she heard that name before… but she couldn’t think of where she heard it before… Mini Miku slid a bit away from the bag, as if to give it more space.

“Oh really? That really stinks… I’d really enjoy being able to see Miku a lot…” She paused, thinking about his question. “Yeah, I suppose I’m here to record… I’m not quite sure. I was invited back here because they wanted me to try singing again.” She was given instructions to the studio, and she didn’t know what to do next… Although, she supposed, they weren’t expecting her to show up an hour early…

This girl seemed pretty nice though. "What about you?"

“Hi!” Mini Miku replied. She doesn’t remember meeting this person before… The girl seemed a bit confused for a moment before she began smiling at Mini Miku… so Mini Miku smiled back. “It’s a nice day, isn’t it?” she added. She enjoyed being out in nice weather.

"You? M- m- meet... me? But... you... I... I'm nothing compared to you! I... I don't get it..." Miku was this big, huge international pop star, with thousands, no, surely millions of fans... and then there's Mini Miku, who ended her own singing career and only gets attention when she's put on a newspaper with the headlines "Strange, tiny, blue-haired girl found walking through park". What made Miku want to meet her?

Nonetheless, Mini Miku thought for a moment. Pick something to do? But what? Then... her stomach grumbled. "... Are you hungry?" It seemed so weird to ask such a casual question to someone like Miku...

“It seems we have more in common than I thought!” Mini Miku replied, although she said that a bit more out of impulse than due to it being a fact. Who knows, though… perhaps they do have more in common? Mini Miku was more impressed with the fact that she actually met Miku…

“Oh, it’s… it’s nice to meet you too, Hatsune Miku!” she replied, returning the smile. “I… I honestly didn’t think I would ever meet you…” she admitted. It’s like a fan meeting a celebrity… you just never expect it to happen… but when it does, it’s totally amazing!
