New PUBG update w00t!

New hairstyles and faces: This update is the first to provide new face presets and new hairstyles. Changing your appearance will still cost you 3,000 in in-game money, however.

Xbox control support: For individuals with repetitive stress injuries or if you just enjoy playing with a control, Battlegrounds currently supports Xbox controls. It's a move which makes sense, considering that Bluehole intends to launch the game on Xbox One.

New gun: Battlegrounds is continuing the tradition of setting its latest weapons in crates, which can be dropped on the map by a cargo plane. This month, it is the American-made Mark 14 Enhanced Battle Rifle. "Many people murdered knocked-out teammates to be able to avoid committing kill count to an opponent who knocked them down," the patch notes say. "Now the kill count will still go to the competition in this particular case."

So as to adapt, you will need to make liberal use of the lean buttons (which default to Q and E) and consider how you are going around the battlespace. It'll be much more difficult to tell if you've concealment when you can not see yourself at the third-person, so plan accordingly the next time you tuck into a shrubbery. The goal here would be to appeal to hardcore, military-simulation types (like me!) , however, the mode has a lot to provide for more casual players also.

Car horns: It is the small things, actually, but the inclusion of an auto horn to Battlegrounds has really lit a fire under people.

Audio occlusion: Now's patch notes mention that audio volume was tweaked depending on where the origin is. If those footsteps you may hear as you are in the loft sound quiet, they are likely outside. If they are louder, then you have to have some uninvited guests downstairs.
