I literally was like unh sunday is deficated to decoratin/ cleanin my room
5 ways to level up during quarantine
(in no order)
1. Make a homemade protein hair mask- Ladies, ladies, ladies right now is the best time to take care of your real hair! You don’t need to throw on a wig every day while you’re in the house ( but you should deep condition that wig too- use silicone mix and your wig will be brand new) Remember your natural hair is like a plant! it needs a lot of water💦 . My hair is low porosity and tends to get very dry, the goal is to add moisture as often as I can to stimulate hair growth. Learn your hair porosity: you can look up videos on YouTube so that you can better understand what your hair needs.
- Along with water, your hair also benifits from protein treatments. I use a protein hair mask once a month made of banana 🍌,coconut water, and flax seeds. I blend it up good in the blender and then apply it to my freshly washed hair in sections. Then I sit under a hooded dryer for 30 minutes. Heat is an important step when conditioning! You need to seal in the moisture.
2.Pick up a new feminine hobby- recently I’ve been practing yoga 🧘🏾♀️ it’s so important to stretch your body and their is tons of research that shows the benifits of yoga.- Here’s a list of other hobbies to take up during quarantine.

Dancing
3. Journal 📓- grab a book or journal and a nice pen and start writing. Journaling is a great way to let go of some negitive beliefs that you have about yourself or life. And you can’t live your best life if you’re weighed down by stress and negitivity from the past. There are lots of journaling prompts all over the internet but my favorite is from a page called @veeshealing on Instagram. Her Instagram highlights has a variety of journal prompts that will help you get to know yourself better as well as get to the bottom of your trauma!
4.Eat healthy- Now is the best time to think about what your consuming and to drink as much water as you can without running to the work/school bathroom every 30 minutes. Remember you should be drinking half of your body weight in oz’s every day. So if you weigh 140 pounds you should be drinking 70 oz of water daily. When it comes to food- try to refrain from lots of junk and sweets. Instead try fruits and load up with veggies. Smoothies have been my go too. Putting protein and things like chia and hemp seeds help you to feel full for a majority the day. If you’re trying to loose some weight on your level up journey look into intermittent fasting.
5. Clean your space- your physical space is a depiction of what’s going on in your mind. So if your room is cluttered it’s because your mind is. Go through your old clothes and get rid of what you can not fit, don’t want, or can’t see yourself wearing anymore. Pack away the winter wear and take out your spring/ summerish clothes. Try selling your old clothes, bags and shoes online through apps like offerup where people can buy your used items.wipe down your furniture sweep your floors and swifter or mop.light a candle. Change your sheets and pillow cases. If your room needs a something new look for cute fairy lights or pictures to hang on your walls. Add flowers to your room, make it beautiful! Your room effects your mood, so turn your space into a place that where you WANT to be.
