OC-tober – Day 10 – [Meme] -  Mimi..Mee-mee, meh-meh..Moulin? Emma it is.

And an unrelated but sort of related song.  Because Beyonce/Mimi Moulin.

Sage simply had no idea how to pronounce the glamorous Elonian fashion model’s name, who’d recently been recruited to the Mesmer Collective.

“Is it Meh-meh?  Or…..Mee-Mee?  Or…” River tried to keep it together, somewhat amused, “Mother, just because she’s Elonian and in the fashion world doesn’t mean her name isn’t spelled or -pronounced- in the New Krytan alphabet her dossier suggests.  Regardless, she’s a very talented mesmer, her background checks out.  What we need to know anyway.” Half-coughing in her giggle fit, which was rare for a generally composed and stoic woman such as Diana, the Rossi just kept chortling, “Oh..my gods…! Stop it before I get sick!”

Both Sage and River turned to face the fellow Collective mesmer, flashing the latter a worried look.  For reasons. “Oh, calm down you two, I’m fine!”  Diana snorted.  “It’s just funny the way Sage can’t pronounce a simple name and I’m sure Miss Moulin would get a kick out of it, is all.”

“Let’s just call her Moulin?  Agent Moulin?” River suggested.

But the other two went on.

“I like Meemee.” “Meh-meh!” “Moo-moo?” “Mamita!” “Mamacita!” “Moulanita?” “Mordremocita!” “That’d only make sense if she was a sylvari!”

Rolling her jade-colored eyes at the antics of the partially drunk Sage and likely heavily medicated Diana (for it was the beginning of Colossus, and both had their reasons to be in their current state), River was done with the playful banter over names, given that she was more familiar with Emma Mimieux Moulin than her superiors.

“How about we just ask her how she’d want to go as, at the very least for her file and agent name, yeah?”

I walked down the street and had a fierce hat and a Hermes bag, you know that was fabulous. The clothes were one of the best things about the movie.

A package arrives at @mimimoulin‘s Rurikton townhouse in Divinity’s Reach. Inside the box is a bundle of envelopes addressed to Emma from infancy to her early teenagehood, and the following letter:  

Dearest Emma,

This is your father writing. Your biological father. A man who has been absent from your life for far too long.

You deserved better from me than silence, and although there was a reason (that I assure you had absolutely nothing to do with you or your mother) it does not excuse my behavior.

If you will permit me, I wish to explain myself in person. Or if you have an interest in learning about your paternal side, I will answer what I can. You will be in complete control of the reunion. I am at your beck and call, and will meet you anywhere, any day.

Should you have no desire to see me now or decide after the meeting to cut contact, I will, of coarse, respect your decision but I would be remiss if I did not reach out to you to extend an olive branch.  

Please know that you are always in my heart, and not a day goes by that I do not think of you, my darling little girl.
