I just caught up with a Stepmother’s Märchen today and omg the season 2 final… SICK AND TWISTED.

I’m really happy we got more insight into Johan’s backstory for such an awful person he’s a great character. Plus his backstory gives us more understanding of how Shuri got into this position in the first place.

AUGH the fact the artist choose to depict her as a flower- no a rose in Johan’s POV made me fall to my knees. The symbolism of her being a pink rose like the previous empress being a purple/lilac rose. Shuri is a literal object in johans eyes, one he can’t pick up and plant where he pleases with no concern to if she can plant her roots or not.
