Huntercorp Dean not meeting Cas is a crime actually

He has Negative Charm by the way, the oppostie of how Dean is full of it - so his flirting game is abysmal. He's full of cheesy cringey one-liners that literally never work on anyone, but they go so wildly over Cas's head that they get his attention anyway and end up kind of working.

Cas walks in and Huntercorp Dean is like, "HELLO. Who is this???"

Regular Dean is immediately bristling. He recognises that tone and the way he's leaning back in his seat, clearly checking Cas out. "That's Castiel, he's an Angel."

"I'll say. Every time he looks at me I feel like I'm in Heaven."

Cas voice "Actually you can't get to Heaven from here..."

"Well they must be missing an angel cause you're right here."

"Ah. None of the other angels miss me. In fact I think they're quite glad I'm gone."

Huntercorp Dean winks. "Well you can stay here with me then, cause you're definitely answering all of my prayers right now."

"You're praying to me? I can't hear you." Cas goes a little bashful. "And that's nice of you to say, Dean. You know I try to be around as much as I can."

Now full of enthusiasm because his lines are WORKING Huntercorp Dean continues flirting with Cas with 0 awareness of how bad he is at it while Cas continues to be equal parts confused and endeared.

Meanwhile Regular Dean has his head in his hands wishing a portal would open up and take the other Dean away again.

Nightly This Dean and This Cas:

Dean is dog-sitting his best friend Charlie’s dog while she’s out of town at Comic Con. While at the local dog park, Charlie’s dog makes friends with Cas Novak’s dog, and Dean thinks he might want to be more than friends with Cas

Dean flirts with a diner waitress one day while him and Sam are working a case (Cas is busy). She gives him a pleasant-customer-service smile until her eyes lock onto his shoulder. She goes pale and backs away and Dean looks at his shoulder like ?????

She tries to make an excuse to leave and bolts out the back door but Dean is Suspicious(TM) and follows her before she can get very far.

She says she's not looking for trouble, she just wants to be left alone, she's made a life for herself here etc etc.

"What are you talking about?" Dean demands, about to reach for his gun.

"You... You’re Dean Winchester." She gestures to his shoulder. "Only Dean Winchester has Castiel's mark and claim on him."

Dean gently touches his shoulder, where the handprint used to be, and he's like, "You're an angel." .......... then he gets his phone out and he's finding Cas's number and slamming the phone to his ear all frowny faced and says to her, "What do you mean, claim? And the mark isn't even there anymore- I- Hey Cas? Cas, there's an angel here who- no I don't know her name- does it matter? Look she says- no don't come here we're fine- she says you left a claim on me with that- y’know that handprint thing and- what do you mean you were going to tell me??? Tell me now-"

And the whole time Dean is getting progressively frownier and his nose is getting redder and he's gripping his shoulder tighter and the angel is watching like, This is the Michael Sword?? This is the Righteous Man??? This is the human Castiel left his mark on?????

deeply invested in dean and cas being an Extremely weird couple

they don’t do PDA but their version of it is just having zero concept of personal space in public, like they get in each other’s faces or go through each other’s pockets or wipe blood and grime off of each other with the side of their hand without even thinking about it. dean almost never refers to cas as his “partner” or “boyfriend,” half because it’s Cas and half because everyone in the hunting world found out that THE dean winchester is dating an angel like four seconds after the first of them knew, so he doesn’t have to tell anyone anyway. but he WILL call cas “buddy,” “asshole,” and (ironically until the day it’s no longer ironic) “sunshine” in the same conversation. neither of them has ever handled a social situation normally because dean’s instincts are “lie, flirt, deflect, keep up my persona” and cas’s are “say something disarmingly honest OR think ‘what would a normal human man do?’ and miss the mark by a mile.” dean can get cas to go from “righteously furious Angel of the Lord” to backing down with a word. cas can tell dean what he needs in a fight or in a conversation with a look. if you meet them separately and hear they’re together you’re like “really? them???” but the instant you see them together you’re like “OH i see it now. they’re both insane differently but they’re each other’s insane person.”

after dean and cas get together cas isn’t sure what the protocol is but he’s like “well i don’t sleep and dean would probably appreciate some space” so he just hangs out in the library when dean goes to sleep but dean’s literally sitting in his bed like “you IGNORE dean? you ignore him like you hate him? you put him in jail? jail for dean for one thousand years?“ and anyway dean has to sleep literally on top of cas (or cas on top of him) otherwise he starts breaking out in hives
