ACHIEVER

A woman writes about own experiences in a form of a blog. Actually, this is the woman’s first time to write a blog.

A young woman just want to share experiences in life. That in a young age, already encountered a lot of problems. The woman is a consistent honor student since elementary. Faces a lot of problems during elementary years as well as in high school journey. Elementary family or classmates are the best. The woman earned a lot of lesson from them. Experiences a lot of first time when the woman started studying. As a former student of Cabaluyan First Elementary School, the woman’s alma mater is never forgotten. All of teachers there taught, guide,and love and care the woman as if they are the real mother and father. The young girl accepted all of their challenge to overcome the woman’s fear in stage. Since then, the teacher noticed that the woman is a fast learner. Since then, this young girl becomes a consistent top student. When the woman is always joining and participating in mathematics competition in sixth grade. Always going to Mangatarem District Two to join a competition and Won as a First place in mathematics. The woman is happy and thankful because of her family, fellow classmates, and teachers. Joining a money contest for Ms. Christmas and won as a queen. Became the happiest princess because her dad escorted her princess to the most memorable walk in front of everybody. Walking like a princess and enjoying the moment. A lot of trophies and sashes was gained for joining a lot of activities and contest. A kind of girl who is not that good at sports but good in academics. Graduated as a Salutatorian of batch 2014-2015. Dedicating all of achievements to family as well as with teachers who never get tired of teaching and guiding for the right thing to do.

HIGH SCHOOL LIFE

After a long journey in elementary, it is finally done. And the young child becomes a woman that is ready for the next step. The woman’s mother told her that HIGH SCHOOL LIFE is the happiest part of being a student. It is true, the woman said, based on own experience. When the woman entered the San Clemente High School, the woman is ready to accept the the ups and downs of being a student. During the woman’s freshman year, the woman started to be friendly because that is the easiest way to be comfortable with classmates and schoolmates. They argue, but when they start talking to each other it means they are okay again. The woman’s active in different activities in their school and also an active student when it comes to academics. The woman is a drum and lyre member. They went to Subic, Zambales for their annual field trip and they experienced many activities.They taught us how to live in a jungle. The freshmen team are the dragon warriors and the name of their section is Diamond. Grade 8-Sapphire and Knights is the name of the woman’s sophomore team. On the sophomore year, the woman becomes matured but not enough to act as an adult. They always thought that their section is immature and not a good role model. It's fine with them because it becomes their inspiration to be a role model and accept their mistakes. When the woman becomes a grade 9 student, they found the best adviser and a epitome of a second mom. That adviser is named as Mrs. Jane Yvette Aquino, a licensed nurse and also a licensed professional teacher. That woman becomes the section’s teacher, motivator,and feel the student’s second mother. Being a grade 10 student is enjoyable and memorable because the students cherish their moments everyday. Every time that they do something, they enjoy it and they do it together. Even though their section is not always the champion when it comes to intramurals, at least they learned a lesson that sometimes, people need to accept their loss and do it better next time. The school’s section is called Capricorn. They call it the best section because they always fight for their rights. One of their classmate has an argument with one of their teachers because that teacher doesn't like us. Their classmate confronted the teacher in front of the principal because the teacher is not being fair. They do not know on why the teacher is treating them like that. They did not do something wrong. Their classmate is not a bad student just because of that. The student did right because that student fight for their rights as a student. But in the end, that teacher apologized to them. As a student, they must respect their teacher and accept the apology. The teacher forgive them and their relationship is much better now. The woman found new friends. All of the woman’s friends are with honors including the woman telling the story itself. Their friendship starts in that school. Sometimes they do not understand each other to the point that they almost end their frienship. But because of love, they stay together. Four years of friendship is unforgettable. They are always studying together.

Being successful someday is their main goal. They are one of the reasons on why the woman wants to study harder, it is because they motivate the woman. The woman found the true meaning of friendship. Now, they are not together but they are always in the woman’s heart, mind,and soul. They separate for the sake of their future but the camaraderie will never be forgotten. The woman promised to them that someday they will be proud of the woman as vice versa.

The woman becomes an achiever by achieving her goals. If the woman achieve the goals, the woman succeded. If not, then the woman is not an achiever. This is a simple, binary way to think about achievement. To achieve means to reach, attain, or accomplish. What I choose to reach, attain, or accomplish is up to the woman. To be an achiever, people must give their goals a sufficient attention to reach, attain, or accomplish them. This means they must withdraw much of their attention from activities that are not directly leading to the accomplishment of their goals. Those things are always in the woman’s mind. The woman is always thinking that people need to give more attention to what they must do than to what they want to do.

An achiever should know that in order to achieve their goals, they must withdraw attention from non-goal activities first. An achiever should also know that these competitions can pique their interests and can cause them a lot of stress. An achiever should know how to accept failures. An achievement is a result of hardwork and efforts. For her, the woman will not become an achiever if the woman can not put an effort to what is the woman doing. People can not achieve what they want if they do not make some efforts. The woman admits that being an achiever is not easy. But, being an achiever is also enjoyable. Being an achiever is amazing.

Get Up Early.Avoid being a perfectionist. Enjoy what we are doing. Set goals and challenges. Be responsible. Those things is what the woman did to achieve her goals in life.

Sometimes, people fail but the important thing is that, at least we learn. We learn from their failures. Achieving their goals is the best feeling because all of their efforts is worth all of it.
