Sorry for the rush job on this. I've got the frustration tears going and I'm trying to make sense of what's going on with him.

Speaking on the stopping, deadweighting, and pulling; is this triple threat with a side of attempted matricide typical?

I trained with him years ago when he was still a puppy and while we've both gotten heaps better on reading each other's cues on walks over the years, over the past couple, I've just been carrying him directly to his pee spots on the cantankerous days. This obviously isn't preferred, I love it when he goes all out with his trotting.

I get that he's a thirteen pound rat terrier, but I'm not going to drag him unless it's a life or death scenario.

He's around eight years old and presents with no auditory or vision loss. Only the occasional neurological episode, but those are few and far between. His last seizure was in May.

I think about how much I love him and it gives me stabbing pains and serious heartache, like my chest is literally going to collapse in on itself and never stop dropping. I don't know what I'm doing or not doing here. I just want him happy healthy and safe.

Also for context, he wears a harness: it's breathable fabric with a secure strap on the back so that he doesn't slip out. The leash connects to the harness through a loop on the back, rather than the neck or chest.

Saying “Judeo-Christian” without an informed knowledge of Judaism is a lot like if you only watched the movie for Fifty Shades of Grey, but you knew it was originally Twilight fanfic, so you assumed that Twilight was a book series about rough BDSM sex.

And then you proceeded to loudly talk over absolutely baffled Twilight fans. Insisting that there were never any vampires or werewolves in those books to begin with, and all of those monster terms were just euphemisms for kink play all along. And saying that obviously Stephenie Meyer was really selling coded novels about BDSM, because she just knew that someday E. L. James would come along and fix everything for her. And loudly remarking how silly Twilight fans must have been not to have noticed all this back in 2005.

All of this and you still haven’t even read Fifty Shades, just watched the movie, so you might not even know as much about the BDSM book as a Twilight fan does. Not that it matters to you…
