DATING TIP: Hold the door for your date. Rip the door off its hinges. Use the door as a weapon to fight off other men. Establish dominance.

I want you to remember:
The fascists hate you too and they just will pretend otherwise until after they've killed the rest of us, before they turn on you.

Did anyone from the queer booktok community flock to Tumblr?

We are still running a campaign to pay our narrator at completion vs via royalty share. The audiobook is happening.
You can back this project and get the audiobook for just $20!!

hey! i just saw a post of yours that bills your book as a tangled retelling and wanted to let you know that you can get in big legal trouble for that. Rapunzle is public domain but Tangled is disney specific and disney is not above suing indie authors over stuff like this so maybe be cautious going forward
Thank you so much!
The Princess and the Thief is a story about an elvish princess who reluctantly teams up with a half-elf, drunken thief to break the horrible curse she has.
Their names are Wind and Velicity.
We call it a retelling loosely as the only similarities are the thievery, blunders along the journey, and mommy issues. But that is where the author originally found inspiration.

The Princess and the Thief (our sapphic Tangled retelling) comes out in just one month.
Can we get some hype for this adorable, hilarious, fluffy, fantastic book???

We (@theritareads, @cats.tea.and.books, @ceallaighsbooks, and @treesofreverie) are so excited to officially launch the #QueerPalestineReadathon. The goal of this readathon is to uplift and celebrate books by and about queer Palestinians and raise funds for families trying to temporarily evacuate Gaza.
If you’d like to participate, you can choose a family to sponsor through organizations like @operationolivebranch, @fundsforgaza, or @coffeesforgaza or amplify a family who has reached out to you. Then, make videos/posts about books you plan to read for the readathon, your personal fundraiser to the family, & highlight the family or families you are fundraising for. Finally, post updates throughout the readathon & don’t forget to post a wrap up with the books you’ve read & donations pledged.
Not in a position to donate? No problem! You can also participate by • Reading books by and about queer Palestinians and amplify these stories • Amplifying others fundraising efforts • Spreading the word about the readathon • Amplifying other organizations supporting Palestinians • Staying up to date on what’s happening in Palestine and amplify the stories from folks on the ground Every post you engage with, repost, share, or boost matters!
For links to fun graphics you can use, book recommendations, a sign up survey, and other resources, see HERE!
We also have a link to a Storygraph challenge featuring Nadia Shammas and Natashah Alterici’s 6-page online comic No Olive Branch for Me. For those with extra busy schedules, this is a great way to participate!
