on the subject of talking to a wall, i'd like to share something i wrote recently as my first post that's not just me yapping about things i Might Do Eventually

i am kissing a wall. not talking to a wall, kissing a wall. or rather i am not kissing it because it is a wall. it does not say it wants to be kissed. i spend most of my days waiting for the wall to talk back. i have never waited for it to kiss back. walls cannot kiss and i will not hold my breath.

i'm not really sure how tumblr works but i want a place to word vomit about literature, i enjoy internet anonymity in fiction so i am bridging the gap to internet anonymity in reality.

i would like to be referred to by they/them pronouns and i am an adult, aside from that everything will be locked behind a paywall the amount of which i have not decided yet. potentially billions of dollars.

i'm currently looking for advice on how to start using tumblr, as well as book recommendations and sites to keep track of books that i've read or am interested in.

as i get more used to the site, i'll be posting book reviews, snippets of my own work, and most likely a few day to day happenings. if you're interested, feel free to follow; i don't really want to talk to a wall so i would appreciate it.

just finished lycanthropy and other chronic illnesses by kristen o'neal. genuinely one of the best books i've ever read and definitely the best one on such a tough topic. ideally it'll be the first review i post but we shall see.
