Grubs are perfect and I love them and they’re GROWING SO WELL.

Top pic comparison is a D. tityus from December, compared to how that baby looks today! The growth is incredible!!

And the last two pics on the bottom are of one of the D. granti grubs. Huge, fat, beautiful. I love them so.

This spotted shovel snout frog [also known as the spotted burrowing frog, Hemisus guttatus] was photographed in southern Africa by Tyrone Ping. Unlike similar burrowing frogs, this frog burrows into the soil head-first with the aid of their hardened, pointy snouts. These frogs are found in arid and hot environments where they burrow deep into the ground to conserve moisture.

This cute little guy landed on my head and got tangled up in my hair. I had to have someone get him out for me. haha

I let him crawl around on my hand for a while before he took off.
