“Bring me the witch and I will save him”

One of the greatest warriors of Galra Empire, Shiro the Champion, finally returns to the castle. However his condition is quite unstable: he is under the influence of powerful spell that plunged him into a deep deep sleep. Then The Emperor Zarkon sends a few his men to find the witch who did it and bring her to him.

Our team (Keith, Lance, Hunk and Pidge) takes the mission, but can’t even imagine what adventures await them. 

The witch is actually a princess of long lost civilization; a mystery stranger who calls himself Zarkon’s son and a lot of dark secrets of Galra Empire.

Voltron as one of those Final Fantasy games, I guess.

Keith works at the Blooms of Marmora flower shop and pines over Shiro, his best friend and roommate. Shiro is perfectly convinced that Keith made a mistake in breaking up with his last ex, and he really wants to help.

Taking several deep, slow breaths, Keith tries to remind himself that he loves Shiro. Ghosting his fingertips up one of the lilies’ petals, he tells himself that Shiro means well, and Shiro deserves for his alleged best friend to listen to him when he’s trying to help out. Never mind that there’s nothing to help with, because despite the ostensible focal point of the conversation, this is more for Shiro than it is for Keith.

It was all just part of the routine. Every morning they’d get their coffee, Keith making his way to the shop after opening up his store, Shiro doing the same on his way going from where he parked his car to his office building. Every morning, Shiro would walk Keith back to work, enjoying the gentle conversation or the comfortable silences. They’d pass by the shopping centre, as they did now, and joke about the high fashion on display in the windows. They’d cross the street, one of them tossing a few coins to a busker on occasion, which is what Keith did this morning.

And just as routine as everything they did was the steady beating of Shiro’s heart, and his hopeless crush making him laugh a little brighter and smile a little wider at everything that Keith did.

Then it turns out the guy isn’t just good at maths - he’s actually beyond gifted. Shiro might be over in his head here.
