Mayo Update 2
6 weeks ago I finally started hormones! I started out on 0.05 of estrogen injections weekly I just moved up to 0.1 weekly. I will go up more in the upcoming weeks after monthly blood work. I'm finally on my journey to full womanhood. Through research I have found out that I have to be on the hormones for at least 2 years before I can get any type of surgery. This is due to insurance purposes. I will be doing everything I can do to get the help and lose the weight I need to safely transition. I talked to my primary care physician about an appetite suppressant, and and since I am also having some grief issues with the loss of my partner of 10 years she put me on Topamax. I have also found out that I can't change my birth certificate until after I have my SRS or bottom surgery AKA Vaginoplasty because I was born in the state of Michigan. So in turn, I will legally change everything over at that time birth certificate, state ID, Name, Social Security, and all legal documents. I know it takes me awhile to post these updates but I will try to be more forthcoming when things happen.

Mayo Update
After months of trying I finally got started on a testosterone blocker (spironolactone) well it worked, but it also raised my potassium levels to very high levels. Now I am on finasteride. This is a long journey. On a personal note 6 months ago on February 25th I lost my Significant other suddenly. She did not know that I was transgender or had started the process. I see my Drs. tomorrow and maybe I can finally start estrogen!

Mayo Visit 6
Seen cardiologist at the Mayo Clinic. She is the head of the Women's Cardiac Unit. I am her first transgender patient, and the first "Guinea Pig" for a study to see how estrogen will affect my heart during transition. Although, she did say that if I start at a low dose, and go up from there over the next couple of years, she sees no trouble. So I see my endo on Monday, I think I will be starting my HRT

New Year, New Me
January 24th I start my journey as a M2F transgender person. I see the Social Worker that day with seeing the Drs. on the 25th. Nervous, scared, and excited all in 1. Took me 56 years to finally realize who I was. As an infant I was dressed as a girl. My mother always told me I should have been a girl. Having the boy parts I was sent through school as a boy. I also did boy things growing up, Scouts, sports, and other typical male things. I was with a guy before I was with a girl. I enjoy both sexes so, yes I am bisexual. I came out to my mother only. She told me she suspected and said it was ok. Never told my dad. I was 16 when I came out. In 1976, you really didn't talk about such things. It was also about that same time I started wearing bras and panties. I would take my mom's stuff as wear it. She caught me in her panties and bras and bought my own sets from there. I never wore them to school, but did after I got home. Dad never knew this either. So this will be an incredible journey. I will keep you informed on my orogress. I welcome comments, ideas, and any other feedback that you give. THANK YOU.

They did it again!
Pinterest took off an entire board of mine for what they call a violation of their policies. I try not to show too much of what they car “ sexually explicit images.” Yet my other board shows more than what my other board did.

Well it is on. I talked with my Dr. the other and she is willing to help me transition from male to female. The next steps are hard and the road is long. So begins my journey into womanhood!

I share a lot of the pics I follow here on Pinterest. Pinterest has decided that NY board about shemales and trannys is inappropriate and has taken I dawn, but I see other pics on there that are just like mine and they are still up. Has Pinterest got a double standard? Tell me what you think.
