Shameless Big Bang - Round 13

My entry for this year's Shameless Big Bang, hosted by @shamelessbigbang!

Mickey is a Vampire Hunter. His mother’s family have been Hunting Vampires for generations. Mickey and Mandy knew about their legacy, and had only started learning from her when she vanished. Untrained, they were determined to honour their mother’s memory. Mickey has trained himself in the art of Vampire Slaying, while Mandy has spent her time studying the lore, history, and family trees of all of the known Vampires. When word reaches them of a series of suspicious killings in Boystown, Mickey finds himself wandering the clubs, a place that he both loves and hates to be. Finally, he finds himself at The Fairy Tail, a somewhat sleazy club known to overlook many things in the interest of keeping their clientele. There, Mickey finds himself inexplicably drawn to a tall, red-headed dancer with pale skin and captivating eyes. Too bad he’s going to have to kill him.

A little bit drunk, a little bit high, and a little bit lonely, Mickey realises he wants a relationship, not random hook-ups. When he reaches out to a handful of people from different parts of his life and asks them to set him up on blind dates, he ends up on multiple awful dates with Ian Gallagher.

Due to the extenuating circumstances of every bad date, they begin to form a friendship that could be so much more if they could just get their heads out of their asses.

sooo funny how badly the writers fucked up in writing mickey out. noel leaving directly after the most impactful arc of the whole show 😬😬AND THEN when they tried to write him out for good it literally just solidified them even more Like everyone left season 7 knowing in their hearts that they were soulmates. fiona said mickey would light a match to ians Put Together Life well one season no mickey and ian LITERALLY SETS HIS FUCKING LIFE ON FIRE and THEN FINALLY when theyre both written out theyre given an ending TOGETHER. AND THEN THEYRE NOT EVEN WRITTEN OUT AND THEYRE THE ONLY GOOD PARTS OF THE NEXT TWO SEASONS. so laughable the only explanation is that it was on purpose

Ian plopping himself in Mickeys lap because he deserved to be cuddle and smushed too ☺️

he does! he does deserve it!

ian settling down in his husband's lap with his full weight, snuggled against him, his face tucked in his neck, burrowing close for warmth and to get at that perfect smell. mickey acclimating to the situation immediately and wrapping an arm around his back, cradling his face with his other hand, chuckling at how cute it is when ian tries to burrow impossibly closer. ian slipping a hand under mickey's shirt so he can feel his skin, so he can feel that much closer. mickey whispering to him, telling him how cute his big guy is. pressing kisses to his forehead. holding him closer. enjoying his weight. both of them enjoying each other's warmth and smell and touch and love.
