EFFECTS OF SOCIAL MEDIA TO TEENAGERS

Social Media has a lot of effects on teenagers, whether it is a nice effect or not. We all know that social media is now incredibly significant and helpful to all of us. With those media, we would be able to communicate easily with our relatives or loved ones who have been far from us. And as for our current situation today, using social media is helpful. Social Media can determine a terrible habit depending on the usage, which is not proper for them.

Teenagers are too attached to social media. Some of the teenagers were not able to do their homework on time. They can not even also do some of their duties at home. Sometimes, when they are dining, teens are using and browsing social media.

That's what we called improper use of social media. Most teens use social media as part of their lifestyles to the point that they post even the unimportant stuff that is unlikely necessary. Sometimes improper use of social media can bring a tremendous effect on some teens' mental health. As for they experience cyberbullying, which can lead to depression, anxiety, and having low self-esteem.

In some instances, it came about that misuse of social media might lead to something crucial matters like ruining someone's reputation and fighting someone through posting harsh and unnecessary words online. Moreover, this small argument might lead to something big.

Yet, social media also affects teenagers positively. Through social media, teenagers can widen their communications and interactions with other people. Teens can also create or find a circle of friends with the same interest as them. It also helps teenagers gain some inspiration and enthusiasm, which they can be adopted as they move throughout their life journey. Additionally, social media can help teenagers to learn about new cultural and societal issues. On what is their stand in the things that matter to them. Another thing is that young people can discover something new to try that can satisfy their interests.

Social Media does not constantly affect teenagers negatively. Therefore, proper use of social media can be the best way we must consider.

In conclusion, social media can either have positive and negative effects on teenagers. But to avoid the inappropriate use of social media, knowing your limitations in using it, also be mindful of what you are going to post online. Just like the saying says that "Think before you click."

THE BEST IS YET TO COME

When it comes to life challenging battles no one is exempted. All of us have ever come in that point of our lives. Each and everyone of us have experienced some struggles and circumstances in our lives. But even though you've done through tons of hardships we've encounter still there's always a lesson we can learn from it. As I've gone through my journey, there are lots of circumstances comes ok my way. Honestly speaking, it wasn't that easy especially for me. As a student, I'm not yet ready nor prepared for that. But of course, I shouldn't be afraid to face that, because I actually believe that these hardships, sacrifices that we are experiencing no matter how hard as a rock it is or challenging it is, as we've gone through with these things still it would make us even stronger. I remembered how hard our life hundred of millenia ago, most specifically when my father got unemployed unexpectedly and my mother is a housewife and we doesn't have source of income. I somewhat feel hopeless that time, even my schooling is also affected. During that time, sometimes I go to school with having allowance for my transportation it's like I only have 20 pesos for my transpo. To the point that I make myself starve in hunger. And before I forgot these things actually happened when I was in high school. That time, I always ask God why would I have to experience that. Few people says, Everything happened has a reason, Everything will be alright, it's just a mere struggle, Everything will be solved by the means of prayer. But i don't actually think that it really ends there, there are still some changes that will happen. As time goes by, and then my father got a new job while my mother has her meryenda business. So our life would be much easier than before. Meanwhile, I also started to sell meryenda's in our classroom in order for me to have allowance. Few months had passed, our life became normal again. But then, this pandemic came so our daily life became unstable again. My father became jobless again as soon as the lockdown has implemented. Unfortunately, because of what happened, in order to have foods to eat it also depends on the goods that our goverment was giving. It was really difficult, but I don't even have a choice either. Later on, my mother had an idea, she decided to continue our meryenda business even though there is a pandemic. We're going to sell it through online and deliver it in every houses near our area. It was good, but it wasn't enough for all of our expenses. Whenever I see mother really problematic, I feel hurt at the same time. She's really stressed out on how she will pay our expenses. As I look to the worried face of the woman who give birth to me. It was really heart-breaking especially because I can't even do anything to atleast ease the stress my mother has. But then again, nothing will happen if I would get myself stuck in my problems right? Whenever I look at a beautiful yet meaningful sunrises. It only says that there will be always a wonderful tomorrow to come. We must not t get out self stucked in every struggles we have. That our life must go on. No matter how difficult our problem is, there's always a better option that is waiting for us. And I want to let everybody to know that in facing life challenging battles we must be DETERMINED, CONFIDENT, FEARLESS.
