I fucking HATE money. I hate capitalism. I hate that we have built entire systems worshipping numbers that don’t fucking mean anything. I hate living in a world where these figures can be the difference between life and death. People kill for money, they work until they can barely stay standing for it, they debase themselves to the point of dehumanization just to earn a little extra. I have lost a disgusting amount of time, energy, and life to the mandatory pursuit of money in order to survive and exist with dignity. I’ve had enough.

It’s only Tumblr. And not important.

But I feel I’ve been wanting to lay something to rest, like laying an old photo somewhere no one will care to look for it.

I met a lot of people from here at the conventions. I wondered why they didn’t take to me, guessing at the time it was my apperance or maybe that I came across as brash and arrogant, instead of shy. Back then, I thought I was unlikeable for being ‘noticably unattractive’ and ‘boring’. Maybe I was just unlikeable. Maybe we were just people, who didn’t get along.

I’ll never really know why.

I wanted to say into the aether that I wanted to get to know those people, yet was never given the chance and made to feel like an exile. And that that’s okay. Everyone has their struggles and only so much energy to take on others.

Time has moved on now. None of these things matter.

I am grateful to those who did talk to me, who chose to be my friend, to form relationships. I’m grateful that all those who didn’t, had each other. I hope you still do.

“A sniper from on high is ready to unleash his wrath, and this Courier will help strike it down on the traitor responsible. In the town of Novac, one man will have his revenge in… ONE FOR MY BABY” This was a fun project to work on, which was basically taking the story of One for my Baby (a Fallout New Vegas quest featuring the NCR sniper Boone) and present it as an old pulp magazine that probably would’ve been popular at the period before the Fallout universe’s nuclear apocalypse, though in a style similar to the 80’s and 2000AD comics. Boone looks more intense than he usually does, but I feel that’s matching to the style itself with those comics. I’’d like to do more quests from Fallout New Vegas and show them in this similar style. If there’s a quest from New Vegas you’d like to see in this style, feel free to leave a comment and I’ll respond as soon as I can.
