BUSINESS CARDS WITH NEW LOGO

After my presentation, I was advised to make my logo 3d to prove that I am a 3d generalist, so I completed that which turned out better than I thought. the only issue is that the logo isn’t straight so i’ll edit that.

SAM AND WILL WORKSHOP OUTCOME

This was a workshop on duplicating a different part of the video and plcing it elsewhere whilst making it look realistic. we received this video and was shown how to place the window above the doorframe from one of the side windows within Nuke.

TIME BASED ARTS SPEAKERS - WILL AND SAM

Time based arts is a small advertisement company based in London who do VFX for products such as; Nike, Peaky Binders, Hozier music videos and many many more. 

Will is based in 2D and Sam is based in 3D and they both came in to speak to us about their company and give us a wokshop in Nuke. 

After their presentation Harry and I got in touch with Sam who helped us get in touch with his Executive Producer who then allowed us to visit the studio and have a chat about possible summer internships with TBA. I really like this company, the studio and the workers and am excited to hopefully progress with them.

FEEDBACK ON PRESENTATION

- really well put together

- still work on layout - less cramped in parts

- have 2D wren with two legs

- contradiction in naming self - just put 3D generalist

- page of 3d work was really good - continue with breakdown aspects

- think about modelling wren logo as you are naming yourself a 3d modeller

FEEDBACK ON BUSINESS CARDS FROM PIERS

- “I like the colour of the outline on the bottom left design but the face in the background is too distracting - maybe add the logo onto a dark grey or burnt orange background instead”

- “I like the bottom left and top right but the bottom left would look better with a dark background as the face doesn’t connect with the wren. Maybe get the double peach lines like the top left one.”
