Hey there! I’m trying to get a bunch of gemstore items, but as you might imagine already, I’m pretty broke right now. So I’m gonna offer some commissions!

looks like im a year older now, cant believe i turned 19

I was bored yesterday so I made this, just as a kind of idea I had for a long time for a group idea I had for a long time where my humans are all part of.

From top left to right (the three founders of the group): 

William Dawson: An Ascalonian necromancer who got reincarnated and one of the founders who joined captain willner in the cause.

Daniel Willner: A seraph captain who later brought William and Androu in to join him in his cause to protect Kryta and Tyria and show others that all the human factions can be united and stand together as one to protect others which resulted in the foundation of Divinity’s United Wings.

Androu Camardo: An Elonian guardian who is one of the founders of Divinity’s United Wings and saw a great potential in the group and so joined alongside William to make the group become how it is now.

From bottom left to right (people who joined the cause)

Tanner Swahn: an Ebon Hawke ranger and the youngest and the smallest of the group who joined together with his pets Buckley and Amadeus after he got inspired by William to join the cause.

Markus Jonas: a jack-of-all-trades engineer who is good at being a tactician and good at improvisation in combat, who joined after his travels and meeting Daniel willner in a tavern who told him and convinced him to  join the group which he did happily.

Casearo Shimoda: a grumpy mercenary who joined the group with his own intentions that only Captain Willner knows about. Casearo likes keeping most of his business to himself and prefers mostly working alone on missions.

  Also the emblem of the group is supposed to resemble the Ascalonian, Krytan and Elonian banners mixed to be one and having the colors of the banners mixed into one banner.

Guild Wars 1, the original, gets a graphics update

Command line makes it so low resolution tricks needed in old computers vanish

March 24th, 2018 - Guild Wars, the first one, has gotten a minor patch that will make it more fun to play on Modern PCs.  By entering a command line into the Guild War 1 game shortcut, players can get rid of flat, 2D trees and low polygon models that game used to make the game more playable on current hardware  per the story originally a spotted by YouTuber WoodenPotatoes,

The command-line, -lodfull, removes all the low graphic tricks. In effect, the commandline is much like the high-rez screen shot mode that would turn off all the billboards for a pretty screen capture but leaves the mode on all the time.

According to WP, the option is the result of a AMA in the Guild Wars One reddit where user tloch12 asked if getting rid of the bad looking low-rez trickery would be possible with a check box in the UI.

“I love this idea,” Arenanet Programmer Stephen Clarke-Willson replied. “I am more likely to do it with a command line, if it really is that simple, so I don’t have to worry about localizing UI”

Unintended Features

Other side effects of the high resolution option patch include breaking, at least temporarily, the bots accounts that have plagued the game in resent years. Clarke-Willson mentioned that Anet is looking at other solutions interally, but at least for now, players have some peace.

The patch also broke some of the community made tools for the game, and provided the authors are still interested, those will need to be fixed.
