Similarities between two of my favorite feline couples of animation: Puss in Boots x Kitty and Diego x Shira
1. Both males started out as assassins of sorts that are sent to handle specific targets.
Puss is sent by King Harold to do away with Shrek.
Diego is sent by Soto to bring the baby, Manny, and Sid to the pack for a good meal.
2. They both change their ways when meeting two other characters who end up becoming his best friends.
3. Both females are also skilled fighters who are initially working for the bad guy.
For Kitty, she was hired by Humpty Dumpty.
Shira is part of a pirate crew led by Captain Gut.
4. They also both change their ways because of the male feline convincing them that they could be better than what was expected of them.

November 26, 2002: Ice Age (2002) is released on DVD and VHS.
This is the only Ice Age film to be released on VHS and it is one of the only two Blue Sky Studios films to be released on the format, the other being Robots.
In addition to the many bonus features on the DVD, both DVD and VHS releases also feature the Scrat short film Gone Nutty.

The thing about Wes Anderson's films is that I don't always connect with the stories he is telling, but by fucking god do I appreciate the craftmanship that went into making them.

It’s an unmistakable metaphor, but Wes Anderson handles it with his signature charm: In this shot from “The Darjeeling Limited,” the Whitman brothers abandon their literal baggage just as they begin to shed their emotional burdens. The suitcases, once their late father’s, are cast aside in a frantic sprint to catch the moving train, symbolizing the weight of grief and lingering family issues that have held them back. It’s a moment of both liberation and finality, bittersweet and inevitable, capturing a poignant release that feels both earned and deeply moving.
