@supergirlx55 and I want to run Hearts & Guts (the Metalocalypse fanwork gift exchange) again this upcoming year, but first, we want to see if people are actually interested in doing it!  To let us know, please respond to the following survey:

Toki’s mom secretly disapproved of him working in harsh conditions and being forced to go into a punishment hole for making a mistake. The only reason she didn’t say anything was because she was taught, as a child, that the husband is the authority figure of the household and was not to question him(but she often regretted not doing anything about it anyways).

As Toki was so young, and had clearly lived a sequestered life, when he first joined Dethklok, his band-mates reluctantly concluded that they would need to give him 'The Talk'. They put it off until Charles became their manager.

At some point early in their history, a drunk and high Skwisgaar and Toki accidentally tapped into their supernatural powers during rehearsal and swapped animal totems. Skwisgaar’s natural totem is the rabbit (ancient pagan symbol for promiscuous sex and tons of babies) while Toki plays the Snow Falcon as a subconscious callback to his original totem. They don’t realize it, but this is the reason behind most of the animosity between them.

Magnus never hated Toki completely, he hated his old band mates and when he was at his angriest, like seeing them happy together at Cornickelson’s funeral, makes him want to hurt them however possible, like stabbing Toki. He even saw Toki as a kindred spirit to an extent as he was occasionally ignored by the rest of the band like he has been for years, so one moment he could be saving Toki from death by cake at camp, another moment he could be torturing him out of spite for Dethklok actually caring for him.
