Forge is Native American and is super smart and builds cool futuristic tech stuff. One of the protagonists is a chinese-american girl whose love interest is a dark-skinned Latino dude. Mystique is literally gender fluid and married to a woman. Mystique also got the woman pregnant by giving herself a penis, which is how Kurt was born. Kitty Pryde is confirmed to be bisexual. Magick is confirmed to be bisexual. Iceman came out as a gay man. Wolverine dated the literal actually HERCULES in one comic. Deadpool has been confirmed by multiple writers (AND THE MOVIE) to be pansexual, and even has a (VIATNAMESE) nonbinary love interest in one comic. The entire series is about minorities living in a society that despises them.

But yeah, sure. Complain about Morph, a SEXLESS SHAPESHIFTER WHO WAS BARELY EVEN IN THE ORIGINAL SHOW, being nonbinary and having a crush on Wolverine.

Xmen has ALWAYS been woke. It's a metaphor for oppression and how anyone who differs from the societal norm is treated terribly. OF COURSE they're going to have queer characters in there 💀

Funerals where attendees think logan is just a distant friend or a work colleague standing in the distance.-

On one occasion the widow Erik left behind actually came up to him and asked how he knew Erik. Logan didn't have the heart to lie to the mourning woman. ",,,It was a long time ago, but we were a good team." without further information, she knows. She sees the hurt in Logan's eyes, that only a lover can have. That type of care, that is deeper for the person lost than for themselves. She doesn't push for Logan to explain further, she understands and just sits with him for a while, easing both their minds with a shared silent prayer and their unity of love for Erik.

"You truly do love him, don't you?" and he knew it wasn't a question. Logan silently nodded. They did end up talking more, the woman inviting Logan to attend the dinner they had planned. With great appreciation for the invitation, he declined . She agreed yet insisted on Logan coming by the following week and sharing his memories and stories with her and the kids. It was comforting to know that the woman Erik ended up spending that life with, was as perfect as Erik himself. Logan realized that he was incredibly glad he waited, letting this amazing woman and their shared children be the light of their lost lover's life.

Logan ends up coming around more often after the original hesitantly accepted invitation to their home, making sure to lend a hand around the house and ensuring the property is kept up well. He ends up taking care of her after the children have grown up. With them out of the house he does most of the work. One day the widow who was left behind to be fated to live alone dies peacefully in her sleep surrounded by the memories of her late husband. Logan ends up living in it a few more years, before giving it to her now fully grown children.

They cared for each other because they both cared for Erik, a bond that was never meant to be romantic, yet still was love.

Logan would’ve gone back to his own small home, spending his time alone waiting in mourning for his love to return. Erik's wife saved him years of lonesome yearning, the company and even the shared grief were what they both truly needed. It was a nice change for him.
