"What happened to the mint that murdered the chamomile?"
"It got the Death Fennel Tea."
This joke has a special place in my heart because when I first came up with in (two years ago on Halloween, I was quite proud of myself for coming up with something a bit morbid on that date (I may also have been high at the time)), I had only noticed that 'fennel' was close the the 'penal' in 'penalty' (not the other kind of 'penal', get your mind out of the gutter 😂), so I was picturing the punchline as "Death Fennel-ty".
But the first person I told the joke to heard the punchline as "death fennel TEA" and when I realized that it worked SO much better for the joke 🤯
It's a cool experience when the person you're telling a joke to makes the joke BETTER 😊

do you ever think about how mother's day would sound like something completely different if you used a different word for mother in it. e.g. mum's day. a day to keep quiet. mum's the word.

My current banner is from this photo I took of a hill with the sunrise over it. The photo is kinda low quality, though, so I think it looks better with the filters.
That black smudge in the sky on the left might be a dark patch of clouds, or it might be dirt on the camera lens.
Btw, this is the same hill on a foggier day:

I don't get motion sickness, I get motion joy. It's an involuntary feeling of giddiness that occurs when on a moving vehicle or structure.
Things that cause motion joy:
Boats, the more they rock the better
Elevators when they start and stop (but taking the stairs is healthier... :/ )
Planes taking off
Trains of all kinds
Busses when you ride standing up
Driving a car uphill on a windy road

I'm the kind of person who comes up with jokes and then laughs so hard telling them to people that I can hardly get to the punchline.
