“Fanbook and Me”

For one of my university projects I was tasked to write a paper regarding a design focus I have for future, so I decided to draw Yotsuyu from the very popular MMORPG, Final Fantasy XIV as well as myself. The focus of the paper was about interweaving anime fan-media and relating it to women self expression.

“Alpha and Omega Beats”

An old piece I drew for a collaboration project for the MapleStory fan community. It was featuring two characters from the game, Kyle (Kaiser) and Velderoth, in the position of a Vocaloid (a synthesizer program with pre-loaded voices allowing composers to create songs) song “Alpha and Omega Beats”.

“Your Adventure Log has Vanished!”

An old piece I drew for a collaboration project for the MapleStory fan community. It was featuring two characters from the game, Cadena and Illium, in the position of a Vocaloid (a synthesizer program with pre-loaded voices allowing composers to create songs) song “Your Adventure Log has Vanished!”

Art Fight entries!

Art Fight is a digital online event featuring artists from around the world to “compete” in drawing as many artworks for other artists that involve their original characters and stories. I have participated in the 2020 edition of art fight for a while in the middle of my University work and drew these “attack” entries.

“Your hair has grown quite long.”

Illustration for a Secret Santa event for a particular online pairing, Dimitri x Felix from Fire Emblem Three Houses! I wanted to illustrate a somewhat tender, and simple gesture from one to another.

“Birthday Surprise”

I had made a particular character with a story written by myself and a peer. Because it was his birthday, I decided to experiment with painting once more to draw him a piece.

“Sephiroth—But with a grapefruit.”

Commission work for a client. An odd request that I was more than willing to fill for—with the only context given to me was I was to draw fanart of the character Sephiroth from Final Fantasy 7 with a grapefruit.

“Valentines SSR—Featuring Feryce Ryuuzaki!”

This was a piece created for an online community event hosted by myself on a fantasy-themed original story collaboration group. I had given the prompt of creating images with the style of receiving a rare card in a mobile game, and drew my original character to be the center!

Was for Valentines 2021.

Another piece for Hidden Street: A MapleStory Illustration FanZine.

In more recent years came the release of a new quest-dungeon area called Elludin. I decided to show the characters of the storyline as well as my other favourite player-class, Mercedes. In the story, the character was a bird who was a bit tone-deaf and involved helping them sing a chorus to find their mother—despite the ears of the player...

The Zine was previously available for purchase but orders and stock have stopped since then.

Illustration for Hidden Street: A Maplestory Location Zine!

I really wanted to illustrate my two favourite characters of all time from the popular MMORPG MapleStory as I was involved in. With the center piece being the characters and the background based of the location Ludibrium, I wanted to show them enjoying themselves. 

The FanZine was previously available for purchase but orders have stopped.
