I just read that Donald Trump and his circus took down a website called reproductiverights.gov
This was a website to help women learn about their reproductive rights in the US and to find health care.
This is absolutely disgusting so I’ll share in this post some resources in case you need them:

COMMUNITY SUPPORT IN GAZA
isr*el has finally "agreed" to a ceasefire agreement. we'll see whether they'll actually abide by the terms, as history shows that the general trend of behaviour is that they agree and then continue to escalate and terrorise innocents in Gaza and Lebanon. but in this moment i'd like to share a few community funds. as well as donating to escape funds, please consider donating to these groups that shoulder the burden of rebuilding gaza's community.
1. The Sameer Project
provides shelter and support to high risk families, special needs children and adults and those with war injuries + chronic diseases.
--
2. Translating Falasteen x Sameer Project collaboration
provides food, water, diapers, milk and medical aid in support of various families in Gaza. These funds help continue to keep this project afloat and capable of providing for the families who depend on them.
--
3. The Zaynab Project
focused on providing food, water, cash aid, children's mental support and orphan sponsorship. They distribute winter clothing, hygiene kits, and free medical attention.
--
4. Merciful Hands Doctors
a donations-based clinic started by a Palestinian doctor living in Gaza in Sept 2024 to provide free medical attention those who need it.

ALL GLORY AND JOY TO THOSE WHO FIGHT AGAINST THEM.

I do think with news of the ceasefire, everyone should read up on what the ceasefire actually means and what the different phases of the ceasefire are. here's a good source for what we know as of now:
Some of my initial takeaways are:
this ceasefire is temporary (as of right now, six weeks long). negotiations will continue but israel is not offering guarantees about continued non-violence. BDS remains important. be vigilant, keep pressure up
rafah crossing will open one week after the initial phase starts
israel will release 2000 prisoners
more aid will get to northern gaza, look out for ways you can help
if the second phase is initiated, israel will do a complete withdrawal from gaza. which means the initial phase will not include that. again i say: BE VIGILANT
if the third phase is reached, reconstruction will begin "under international supervision"
nothing is over, even if this is a relief. do not tape out, do not tune out.
pls still read the full article

ceasefire will not go into effect until SUNDAY and israel has been bombing the north, central Gaza, and west bank relentlessly. they will only increase their onslaught in the days and hours before a ceasefire goes into effect. stay vigilant!!
phase 1 of ceasefire is a PARTIAL ceasefire during which israel will halt aerial military operations for only 10-12 hours a day as hostage exchange happens. on day 16 of phase 1 they will supposedly resume negotiations to implement a permanent and total ceasefire. source
the most important thing to do rn and always is to send and amplify aid efforts! in phase 1 the rafah crossing is presume to reopen & allow aid back in. just now it was reported that aid trucks are entering southern Gaza!! people need aid ASAP for food, supplies, transportation, medical needs.
if you have the means, send aid now!
please support four families (36 people, 13 of whom are children, one is a newborn baby!) who we have been supporting raise funds for. they have lost their homes, countless people, are starving and in need of baby supplies. many family members need immediate emergency medical evacuation as soon as that becomes possible.
send funds & read more at hopp.bio/palfunds or linktr.ee/mnfams4palestine

Okay, without trying to take away from the joy we are feeling, we must stay vigilant. This ceasefire deal is 3 phases, the first is a 42 day pause for hostage exchange which is set to start on SUNDAY, as long as Netanyahu’s cabinet signs off on it. The IOF is not expected to fully retreat from Gaza, but stay to ‘mandated zones’. Palestinians are meant to be able to return to their homes, but with Israeli soldiers still there, this is not a guarantee. The 600 aid trucks a day into Gaza during this 42 day phase 1 is still not enough.
THIS IS NOT OVER. We do not know the details of phase 2 and 3, and nothing has been agreed for these phases in writing. We must not get complacent in this moment of respite. Please, do not stop fighting. This is not over until every Palestinian can return home, until the occupation is gone, until all of Palestine is free.
Keep protesting and campaigning, keep donating because aid organisations need all the help they can get, especially in the next 6 weeks, and it might be the only window people get to evacuate. This is a step in the right direction, but it is not over.

I’m tired of hearing from my cisgender female friends that relationships without men are virtuous.
male relationships are rich, beautiful, and human. a man’s true love is just as sacred and powerful as any other. masculinity is not damnation. queer men, if you’ve ever been told you are “one of the good ones” because you aren’t cisgender and/or straight, that’s not true. you are not good because you are queer. you are good because you are you.

this is your thanksgiving reminder that the chinook tribe is still fighting for federal recognition, which means they are unable to access programs and resources. please take some time today to sign their petition and donate if you’re able to. and if you live in washington or oregon please write to your elected officials.

Senators are going to vote on whether or not we should continue to send aid to Israel on Wednesday, November 13th. Call them, bombard their phone lines with calls. Every fucking day. We have a chance of doing something about this.

The Climate Change Superfund Act makes major fossil fuel companies financially liable for damage due to extreme weather events and other dangers related to climate change. The amount these companies are responsible for paying depends on their contributions to emissions since 1995.
Money collected from fossil fuel companies will be used to mitigate the health impacts of climate change and improve public infrastructure.
