Ok, why?

While yes, the creator of the Pink Ribon symbol and her foundation fuckin sucks ass, the company that Blizzard is supporting it’s highly viable, the BCRF has been an A+ foundation with a clean history.

“IF THEY WANTED TO DONATE THE MONEY THEY COULD HAVE DONE IT THEMSELVES!!!”

While this argument is kinda super true, the point isn��t only the money, but also spreading the word, sure, they COULD HAVE donated a ton of money themselves and actually I would love if as a plus they do that, but a lot of people, specially younger people, are learning about the existence of this foundation just now.

I had no fuckin clue about the BCRF till the campain came out, never heard of it, a ton of people didn’t, the fact that such an influential game is spreading the word via their own game is a huge boost for the campaign.

“THEY MAKE YOU PAY FOR THE SKIN WHICH TAKES THE VALUE OUT OF YOUR GOOD DEED!!!”

A: Not all donations get you the Mercy skin, the goals are there to encourage players who don’t care about the campain but may want the collectables, AND to reward people for their good heart.

B: The 100% of the money collected goes directly to the charity.

C: Again, you’re not paying for the skin, you are donating money to a charity, the skin, the stickers and icons are all just rewards for people with big hearts.

D: Ton of donators are giving money via the streams, and some of them choose to donate a lot without getting reward.

“SOME PEOPLE DON’T EVEN CARE ABOUT THE TOPIC AND JUST WANT THE DAMN SKIN”

That proves that the skin idea is effective, sure, they may not care, but the skin hooked em into supporting too, the BCRF wins money even if you donate 1 dolar from the heart or a 100 looking for something back.

Sure, it’s kinda screwy doin good deeds only for what you may get, but it’s up to the person, that ain’t Blizzard nor the BCRF fault.

Once I was playing Mercy on Nepal sanctum and this Reaper death blossomed. He killed two people and almost killed me, but I killed him mid-ult, then resurrected the people he killed. I then got POTG. Best day of my life.

I was doing my ranking matches today, and so was pretty much everyone else. The first team I was with was okay, but there was one guy who was really good, and I stayed on the team with just him. We play like three more matches, picking up individuals who are all really good, and by my 10th placement match we had five people, and one random person. I played mercy in every match but two (when someone else picked mercy and did well, so I went lucio) and did at least 8k healing in every match. My highest was 13k, and I did 13k twice. So in the 10th match, my whole team knows I’m great as a mercy, I’ve gotten maybe three kills in all 10 matches (once when it was just me and an Ana on a point with our team at 99%). I died nineteen times in the tenth match. NINETEEN TIMES. And then the random person gets on the mic for the first time and says “stop playing attack mercy!” I wasn’t playing attack. I hadn’t switched to my pea shooter once in that entire match. I kept dying because the tanks were spread out and not protecting me, and the dps (the random person) refused to take down the pharah that kept killing me. I also got hooked and headshot by roadhog at least ten times. My entire team starts yelling at the random person about how I was a great mercy, how I’d sacrificed myself multiple times on objective capture maps just to contest the point, to give enough overtime for a tank to get on the point and hold it until the rest of the team got there (I pulled that move a solid five times). It was so surprising, because I, even though I knew I was doing well, was starting to think my teammates were like ignoring me or not happy with how I was doing. I was legit in tears.

I have a friend who plays as attack Mercy. No healing ever. The only healing he’ll ever do is his ult. I’ve seen him get POTG as attack Mercy. He charged the payload, pistol out and ready to go. As he gets there he resurrects 4 people and headshots two people. This pushed the payload to its final destination and ended the game. You could feel the disbelief as everyone watched this epic POTG. My friend then gets on the com and says: “that’s right, Attack Mercy, bitch” and quits the game. I haven’t seen him play anything but Duck Game since.

The first time I played qp as Mercy I got both achievements for her within three minutes and my five-player rez wasn't potg but was at the end of the enemy Soldier's

You wanna know my least favorite thing that happens when I play Mercy? When I get a 4 or 5 man revive then an ult like D.Va's or Genji's kills us all right afterwards. And then /they/ get play of the game. The one time I actually get more than three revives ends up a flop because of you, you piece of crap Genji.

So 3v3 elimination: mercy (me), genji, pharah. Enemy is junkrat, roadhog, and pharah. Our pharah is boss and blows her wannabe out sky. When out of a small door roadhog hooks pharah. She dead and I book it to genji…who died the moment i reach him and I’m pelleted with bomb. By some miracle I survive. Shoot the mine he threw and kill him before he reloads. But roadhog is a name to all healers. I try to hide in spawn area. But he hooks me and we face off for several minutes as I use the desk to jump off of it duck behind. He keeps healing and eventually I have to straf circles around him and hope to fix he doesn’t turn fast enough. Everyone in chat is telling me to give up. That was the final push I needed. I shot him dead from full health. Finally hitting that widdle head. Cue “wow” all at once it felt good.

I had rez for ages in a comp match but i was keeping everyone alive, so when our genji died i solo rez him because everyone was full health. Apparently that made me a noob ! I mean i have been sent two days of hateful messages for not soloing a pharah and told to kill myself because i died at the same time as my from a dva ult! You just cant win as mercy. Dont get me started on the whole “you should protect yourself” versus “ why are you shooting when you should be healing” bullshit.

Shout out to the Mercy who managed to De-mech me, an almost full health dva. You're a god/goddess amoung men and you deserved better then your team. Also shout out to my teams mercy for healing me after the other mercy almost kicked my ass. Sorry you had to deal with my shit - A dva/Mercy main.

So I had the most polite team the other night. They all kept thanking me for heals and didn't go to far from me or out of my line of sight. It was beautiful. And cause I was able to keep their health up I didn't have much to do in the way of rezing so I ended up solo rezing Hanzo like 3 times. I got the score card at the end of the match too :)

Same mercy who was feeling really bad after reading this blog: turns it I consistently get at least 10k healing in comp! As mercy or any other healer! If the game isn't short of course! I just found the perfect group for comp! And even the losses don't feel bad at all!! It's wonderful! So here I was, worried I was bad at healing, turns out I'm really good!! Sadly, I'll forget this later and doubt myself when too many games go bad :(

Why do I never get good experience playing with kids, like they would be sweet thanking mercy to 'SOLO REZ ME!!!!!!' or suddenly just spamming with "i need healing" or just full on criticising my healing.

I was just doing battle Mercy in No Limits. Silver elims and we were trying to take Obj. B on Anubis. Out of no where our Mei swaps to Mercy and starts flaming me over mic saying I should never play Mercy again and trash my PS4. I looked at their profile and they main her too, had 100ish hours on her (I just hit 200.) Like I'm sorry I wanted to have fun for once? We had two Widows, a Mei, and two Symmetras on attack so I mean blame me, right... we still didn't win after she switched. So. Thx.

I hate when they spam i need healing, like ok thanks i know, if you'd stop letting me get destroyed by the enemy tracer before i can even get to the point i could maybe heal you!!! they messaged me and told me i was the "worst mercy ever." yeah, no, you guys were just the worst teammates ever

I was playing as Reaper and the Mercy in our Team latched herself onto me. Kept healing and powering me up. Rezzed me twice probably on solo-rez (we were on MysteryHeroes so I guess she thought we needed me as a Reaper ) This was one of the coolest things to happen to me
