Despite thinking shes a tad odd Minthara does deeply respects Jaheira not as an elder, shes older than her I think, but just as a person. She made a space for herself in the world, has a family and a people who love her despite her being how she is. The druid is a force to be reckoned with yet has more patience than Minthara thought she'd have. In a world where she stays topside Minthara may hope she eventually turns out kind of like Jaheira, though still a bit prickly.

People complaining at her wasn't new. While the complaints may range they were all the same. Endless noise that she didn't care for and stuff she didn't want to deal with. Their woes weren't her concern but that didn't stop people from complaining at her like some therapist.

Releasing her hold she loudly groan like a child. He could at least humor her, give her something to work with, hells she would even duel him despite him being lesser.

"You're no fun," She grumbled as she put her dagger away, her usual frown on her face as it normally was. "It was a measure of skill, I have no interest in separating your head from your shoulders."

The mercenary leader looked at her, bored really. Couldn't they find some other way to attempt to kill or intimidate him? He sighed " Minthara, did your mother put you up to this? I promise its not worth your life to try and take mine. " Many had underestimated Jarlaxle and all of them were dead. With a flick of his wrist he had conjured a magic dagger into one hand letting the tip of the summoned blade poke at her stomach. Though as he did that several hand crossbows clicked behind her.

"So an angel sired you, peculiar." She hummed. Minthara was happy she had taken it well and even happier she had answered so cleanly. Deciding to indulge the Drow pressed further as she may not get this chance again.

"Do you know much of your angelic kin, or are you simply a spawn and nothing more?" She asked thoughtfully. "If you wish not to indulge my curiosity it is fine. I appreciate your honesty regardless and can turn my attention else where."

Warriors were common. Minthara had seen many different kinds in her life but never one such as this. No one was quite like Anthelion ,both in appearance and as a person, so the drow was curious to say the least.

"You," She pointed a sharp finger at the other woman. "Tell me, were you touched by a god to end up this way or do you hail from goliaths? I've not met either so pardon me if the question is insensitive."
