i've been busy
#a few more bc i'm proud of myself for how much time i've been putting in :3#fun fact the first 2 images were supposed to be an animation and it did not work#too many colors for a gif and the site did not like the animated png#so the poor recipient got something labeled as an animation and had to be disappointed with what they were shown#i tried to link them to a full version but that's still not going well

i've been busy
#just a few of the characters i've done for art fight#what i'm most proud of is i know a lot of what i've made would have taken like twice as long for me to draw in the past#some of that is that having a goal for a high quantity made me less perfectionistic#so i didn't spend as much time making miniscule adjustments as i would have#but i think a lot of it is practice paying off :3#also i'm proud of myself for actually having drawn multiple backgrounds LOL

i swear i only ever draw pathfinder characters. meet kass, a half-elf bloodrager who found kyonin insufferable (who wouldn’t) and ran off in search of adventure.
#my thoughts on designing her were mostly about how to make the coolest character possible lmao#i like how the slanted eyes turned out hehe got a little bit of that elven morphology instead of just being a human with pointy ears#might expand this to be full body some day but posing her with her bardiche did not spark joy at the time i was making this#tbh there's plenty of room to add to this in other ways too so revisiting is tempting#but!!!! i'm rlly excited a member of my group is gonna be running actual pfs oneshots when our regular gms are burnt out!!!!!

when ur rewriting an old story and it’s so much better in so many ways but u don’t get to keep some of ur favorite jokes from the first draft
"Now we can talk about the real crime. That book you chose. Antagonism in Script? Since when did you care enough about script to read research compilations?"
"Well," T began carefully, "I thought script sounded fun and different, something new to learn. And then I thought antagonism sounded fun. No need to explain that one, I hope. I didn't do much thinking beyond that, just grabbed it and ran. And you know what? Now that I grabbed it, I love antagonism in script. It's my favorite topic. You can ask me anything about it and I'll be happy to go on for days. And by anything I mean anything related to the changeability of wind spirits and by days I mean thirty seconds because that's how much I read."
She hoped B would find stubborn spite funny enough that he wouldn't bother her when he next caught her reading. At least not too much.
"The changeability of wind spirits," B repeated.
"If you ask anything fart related, I'm spilling my drink on your lap."

friend has requested i draw her character and i do not have enough to show her yet but i am very pleased w these feathers :)
#i remember trying to do feathers for elee's hat#didn't focus on it much bc there were so many other things to worry about so i think i just made a wing-ish shape and said good enough#so when she said there would be feathers i figured i should do some experimenting :)#also props to this friend for all the references she put together i'm excited to bring it to life

haven't drawn a lot recently, been feeling kind of burnt out on my project so i'm going to pivot for a while, work on something else that i've had on the back burner, casually doodle my pathfinder characters, and when i get to a place where i feel like forging on with the project won't make me hate both it and myself, i'll circle back to it.
