i’m melon!! welcome to my madness <3 i use she/they pronouns, i am an artist and i like to yap about block people :3

i post mostly just my current interests, which at the moment happens to be hermitcraft, the life series and other smps of the sorts. i also dabble in musical theatre!

ABSOLUTELY INSANE NUMBER OF PEOPLE FOLLOWING THIS BLOG. thank you all for sticking around and for leaving very silly and very sweet comments + tags on my art :'D it is so super cool to know that there are people out there who like the things i make!!!

itty bitty comic that took me WAYYY longer than i expected :'] i was trying to test the viability of this medium for sequential art and the answer is Yes it kind of works but Only if you have both a ton of patience and time on your hands. i think this turned out kinda swag for a first attempt!

anyways this was going to be the beginning of a short story but now i've moved and. no longer live in the forest anymore kjfdksj so might have to rethink it slightly

this week i took a live figure drawing class and it was so much fun and i grew immensely as an artist. if you’re an artist, i highly recommend looking for live figure drawing classes in your area, you will seriously learn so much :3

this came to me in a vision

just relistening to some past imp & skizz podcasts and. in the tango episode. skizz talks about how he has a lot of asian coworkers and even if they tell him to just use their american name for simplicity, he makes an effort to learn their actual names which. omg.

i truly adore skizz because at his core, he is a genuine and kind soul, and especially as someone who is korean this made me smile so much. and he even admits he probably butchers the names but it’s the fact that he is trying because he genuinely cares about other people.

it’s small acts like that that make a difference, and. i just find it so sweet because when i was younger, i often felt embarrassed to be asian and all this is to say that we really need more people like skizz in the world who make it more bearable to be different.
