You reoccur in my dreams in fragments of surprises. A bittersweet taste of who you were and what we had. I would love to forget you, your touch, your smile, the way you said your quirky “hi’s” that as cliche as it sounds, would have my heart literally jump out of my chest. I can still vividly remember each little crease beside your brown eyes when you would smile. The sudden twist of words struggling to stumble out of your mouth. How your fingers would grasp onto things so tightly as if you were afraid it could run away from you. But you were the one running and I stayed in the same place where I belonged; with you.
