Forest Cries Part Two - Gojo x Reader
Tumblr media
Word Count: 2,546
Warnings: sex pollen, smut, oral (fem receiving), minor violence
Summary: Your fight goes wrong and smut ensues
A/N: You can find the first chapter on my masterlist! At least one more chapter (maybe two) to go!
The forest was peaceful, birds chirping in the distance. That was why you loved nature so much. Wars could rage, curses could destroy cities and lives. Yet somewhere out in the world, the birds would still sing. It was a constant, something you could always rely on. Forests will always feel like home.
Right now it felt a bit more like a battlefield.
Gojo was standing across from you, smiling to himself as he removed his glasses and began to wrap his cloth over his eyes. He paused for a moment, looking over you with one bright blue eye out. His focus drifted down to the drying blood on your arm. Wordlessly, he tore off some of his white blindfold.
With a grin, he walked the few feet to be back in front of you. "Can't have it getting infected." He said, lifting the cloth to your arm and wrapping it around the minor wound carefully. His slender fingers lightly brushed your skin as he did so. You felt your heartbeat quicken in your chest at his touch. "You'll need that arm to beat me."
He was so close to you.
You usually worked alongside Gojo, and have for many years. Before that, you were students together. Yet something about his close proximity and attentiveness to you today felt different. More intimate.
"All done!" He said, pulling back to admire his handiwork as he checked the makeshift bandage. In a blink he was back on the other side of the training area you'd used earlier. You felt your body relax a little with the distance even if it meant it was almost time for you two to fight.
The winner was predetermined. Gojo would win, simply because he can't lose and never has. Even then it didn't deter you. Practice was practice even if you were destined to fail. At the very least, you'd have fun with it.
Plus, Gojo didn't realize you might have an ace up your sleeve. His extra attention to you today didn't go unnoticed, he'd even seemed worried about you when you went against Nobara.
"Are you ready?" He asked, his head tilted in question. His blindfold was secured in place now. Gojo's signature white hair pushed up like usual. It made something inside of you bristle.
You liked it better down.
"Yes." You responded, your face blank as you readied yourself for whatever he could throw at you. In truth you were tired, the fights against the students had taken a lot out of you earlier. And despite assuring Gojo that you were fine, you still hadn't had a chance to exercise your powers in a long time.
Unlike most sorcerers, your cursed energy was like a muscle. Don't use it enough, it gets weak. Use it too much and it gets fatigued. Still, you still wore a brave face for him.
Despite being weak and fatigued, you were still one of the best. Gojo knew that. He also knew your weaknesses. Alternatively, Gojo didn't really have any. At least, not any that you could exploit out here, except one. Although it was just a hunch, right?
"Don't go easy on me." Gojo said, a smirk back on his face as he stood still, hands behind his back.
"I should be saying the same to you." You joked, planting your feet. Ready for battle.
With that, he disappeared, reappearing less than a foot in front of you, his lips curling as he leaned into your face. "Ok. I won't then." With that, his fist appeared, blue energy empowering it as it slammed into your good shoulder. Effectively knocking you back against a tree.
The air left your lungs, for a moment you gasped for air staring at him with fire in your eyes. Gojo was unflinching, like you were just any other person, any other curse. Maybe your hunch was wrong.
Maybe.
Regaining your strength after the sudden attack, you summoned roots from the forest floor. The vines wrapped tight around your fists and arms, as though it was steel armor. Slowly you lifted yourself off the tree trunk. Small blue buds covered your arms now, still unopened and sharp splintered wood fed from your fingers.
"Kitty has claws now, does she?" Gojo teased.
"Oh you have no idea."
Gojo's hand swung out again, the same blue energy promising to pack a punch like before. Swiftly you dodged down, his fist colliding with the tree trunk - right where your chest was and leaving a dent in the bark.
Shit.
Deciding not to dwell, you slashed your hands towards his abdomen. The jagged wood tearing open his uniform and exposing taut muscle and pale skin. Gojo was fast, moving backward quickly enough to avoid drawing blood. His hand reached toward to touch the ripped material in surprise. "Been a while since anyone left a mark on me."
"I'm not done yet, Satoru." You said, standing up straight again. Confidence blossomed in your chest. He was right, you'd gotten the better of him for once.
Gojo kept his distance for a bit after that, dodging all the vines you sent his way effortlessly. Blue flowers covered the area the two of you were fighting in, waiting for the right moment.
"Are you afraid of me now?" You teased, trying to bait him closer.
Gojo shook his head, his hand going up to pull some of his blindfold off, exposing his eyes. "How could I be afraid of something so cute?" He said, winking before hiding his eyes again.
Your stomach bubbled for a moment, butterflies erupting as he finally decided to strike again, reappearing in front of you before grabbing your already injured arm and twisting it in his grip. With a hiss you tried to strike with your other. The clawed fist aiming for his face this time.
Gojo ducked down, his hand losing his grip on your arm. Your fist swung wide, missing him completely. Yet Gojo was crouched, his head by your stomach, one hand gripping the bottom hem of your shirt. His eyes were probably wide under that blindfold of his.
He was stuck.
You raised your elbow, preparing to hit him the back. Before you got the chance his weight shifted as Gojo wrapped both arms around your stomach, throwing you off balance as he threw himself against you.
Just like that, you were falling. Both of your bodies hitting the forest floor with a thud, air leaving your lungs on impact. The pressure of Gojo's body on yours made it hard to move. You started coughing and sputtering trying to get oxygen back. When you opened your eyes moments later, Gojo's fist was hovering above your face.
"I win-"
The beautiful blue flowers blossomed, sickly sweet pollen filling the air around you. Both of you began coughing now, bodies tense as you tried to breathe in something other than the dust now coating your lungs.
After a minute it had settled, both of you staring at each other in confusion.
"It didn't work." Gojo was still on top of you, his hand moving to rip off the blindfold. "Why aren't we asleep? It just worked on Megumi." The ace up your sleeve had failed and at the worst possible moment. You would've won.
Gojo was quiet.
Eerily so.
Suddenly he blinked away, leaving you feeling cold on the ground. His weight no longer there. He cleared his throat, his voice coming out raspy as though he needed water. "I think somethings wrong."
Your breathing started to get heavy, as the skin he was touching began to tingle. The forest seemed brighter as you looked around - almost too bright. And your clothes felt too tight, too heavy on your skin.
From the way Gojo was tugging at his shirt collar you supposed, he might be feeling the same. "Yeah I uh, I think you might be right." Slowly you pushed yourself up off the ground. Your pants brushing against your skin in a way that had your legs shaking and warmth pooling in your stomach.
The feeling was all too familiar, and although it wasn't the first time you felt this ache in his presence something was clearly wrong.
With wide eyes you looked over at Gojo his fingers were tearing his blindfold off. He wouldn't make eye contact. His eyes darting around the forest as if looking for an escape route. "Gojo." You said, trying to catch his attention. You felt so hot, lifting up the hem of your shirt to try and cool yourself.
His eyes shot to your hand, to the slightly exposed skin. He struggled to look away, letting out a grunt as he ran his hands through his hair.
You couldn't help but watch him do it. Gojo was like a work of art, a thought you'd long suppressed until now. Soft white hair, long fingers, and a smirk that made stronger women fall to the ground. Right now you felt as though you would too. Legs shaking even more than before as you felt yourself tighten.
You just wanted him to look at you.
You took a wobbly step forward, "Gojo-" You hit the ground again, landing on your knees "I'm so hot." Your mouth was going dry. An insatiable thirst. Slowly your fingers raised your shirt, taking it off completely. Yuji, Megumi, and Nobara were long gone by now. They couldn't see you like this. The material was just too much.
His eyes met yours. Gojo's pupils were blown wide, staring at you with such intensity and desire. You let out a whine. He finally looked at you. "I'll go get help." He said, the words heavy on his tongue.
"No." You said numbly, shaking your head. "They won't be able to help me." Your eyelids felt heavy but you couldn't look away from him. You barely blinked if it meant having to look away from him for just a second.
"Us." He said, voice deeper than before. "It's affected both of us." His words made your eyes drift down, to the tear in his shirt that somehow seemed wider and the tent in his pants that made your body flush and nipples pebble uncomfortably against your black lace bra.
The warmth inside you grew, sweat beading down your back. "Oh fuck, Gojo." You said. The words stretched into a moan. He was practically twitching in place now, eyes still looking at your face. As though he'd get in trouble for looking anywhere else. "You can look at me."
You felt so desperate, so needy for his attention. Just the thought of his eyes on you made your thighs rub together, seeking long needed friction. "Please." You begged. Fingers moving down to toy with the button of your jeans. It was still too hot.
He was in front of you now, within arms reach after listening to your plea. His jaw was clenched, eyes still wild beneath his hair. "I don't think I can stop myself." He said. There was only so much restraint Gojo had. The pollen affecting him more and more by the second.
"I don't want you to."
Your words made him sink to his knees, his arms coming out to touch your hair. Your breath hitched in your throat as he tucked a strand of hair behind your ear. His fingers trailing down the side of your neck.
Your nerves lit up in his wake as he trailed lower, past your bra and down to your jeans. His fingers stilled over the button. He looked up at you, waiting for permission. You were past words, desire taking over as you did it yourself, unbuttoning your jeans and rolling them down past your hips as Gojo watched mesmerized as you laid on the cold ground. The grass below you cooled your skin, a short reprieve from the heat filling your veins.
You would've been embarrassed by the amount of slick coating your thighs had you not been so needy. Your matching lace panties must've been completely soaked through in the process.
Gojo grabbed your thighs wordlessly, lifting your legs over each of his shoulders. It was hard to relax, your stomach tightening at the teasing trail of his fingers and the drunken way he looked at you. Eyes full of lust and wanton need. Yet you stayed still, waiting for the next shoe to drop.
All rational thoughts long gone.
You heard Gojo take a deep inhale, "I'm gonna ruin you." His tongue was on you, licking a single stripe over your soaked panties. He wasted no time after the first taste, fingers digging into your thighs as he pulled your core closer. You felt his nose bump against your clit as you writhed in his grip.
It felt like he was everywhere, taking what he wanted from you, what he craved. Devouring you whole as he moved your panties to the side. Spreading you open and delving in with a fire you'd never felt before. The pollen made everything else feel hazy - except him. Every touch igniting under your skin.
Gojo's eyes were shut in ecstasy as he lapped up the slick that was starting to drip onto the forest floor. The scene was filthy. Yet you loved it. Loved the thought of potentially getting caught with his face buried between your thighs. It felt as though nothing mattered as long as he didn't stop.
The heat in your body began to rise, his hand leaving one of your legs to lower it to your core. His tongue swirling around your clit as his fingers brushed against your entrance. You looked down at Gojo, his white hair sticking up in all directions. His eyes met yours for a moment before he inserted two fingers, pumping slowly as he continued to suck the sensitive bundle of nerves.
Your mouth opened in a gasp as he curled his fingers inside you. Your back arching off the ground, all the sensations becoming too much as he stroked the fire inside you with an intense ferocity. Your legs began to shake, a cry escaping your lips as you came, your eyes screwing shut. Sparks traveled along your body as his fingers slowed slightly inside you, helping you ride your high.
"Holy shit." Gojo said, carefully taking your legs off his shoulders. You smiled at his words, waiting for your breathing to even out as you opened your eyes to stare at the canopy at trees above you.
The simmering below your skin had already started to return, the two of you far from done. "It's your turn." You said, a smile on your lips as you stared towards the sky.
"That's not necessary." He said, clearing his throat. His voice still deep with desire.
"Maybe." You grinned, sitting up to look at him. Your eyes couldn't help but drift to Gojo's cock straining against his pants. "But I really, really want to."
The effects of the pollen were still strong on you, and Gojo's needs hadn't been satiated yet. But those two things aside, you meant it. You wanted to suck him until he moaned your name and tangled his fingers in your hair.
It wasn't just a want, it was a need.
And you needed him deep inside you.

Forest Cries Part One - Gojo x Reader
Tumblr media
Word Count: 2,144
Warnings: eventual smut, very minor blood, training sequence, pollen,
Summary: Mountian training goes wrong with Gojo and the kids.
A/N: Sorry for being on hiatus for so long, thanks for 500 followers guys! Next chapter will have smut!
The crisp clear air filled your senses as you opened the car door. Seeing the mountains and evergreen trees on the drive up was enough to make you smile, but the smell. God the smell was incredible. You couldn't help yourself from taking a deep breath as you stepped out of the van. The sound of Yuji and Nobara arguing about who won eye spy followed you out of the car. Rolling your eyes you walked past them, towards the trees. In the distance Gojo called out for you, frustrated you weren't going to help him unload everything you'd had to bring with you.
He knew better than to expect any assistance when you were back where you belonged. The forest calling out to you like a siren song. It felt good to be home after being in the concrete jungle for so long. Although you were only going to be there for the weekend to work alongside Gojo to help him teach his students you still lept at a chance to be among the trees.
Hesitantly you walked up to a redwood tree, its branches towering over you. Carefully you placed your hand on it, its energy quickly surged through your palm as you closed your eyes. A symphony filled your head, the forest giving you life once again. It felt like a warm hug on a cold night. Refreshing and comforting, the type of feeling that could fix all your problems. When you opened your eyes Gojo was standing beside you. "Feel better?" He asked, looking down at you through his sunglasses.
You gave him a shy shrug, the spark coming back to your eyes as you smiled, "I guess we'll see."
It had been a few hours since you'd all arrived and the camp was fully set up. To keep it simple everyone had agreed on the three students in one tent and the teachers in the other. It had been incredibly hard to ignore the smirk on Gojo's face when you'd originally agreed to it but with the newfound energy you had you simply brushed it off.
You had a while before sunset so Gojo decided now would be the perfect time to announce why they'd come on the field trip and more importantly why you'd come. Clapping his hands together Gojo shouted, "To the woods!"
"Why can't we just train here?" Megumi asked, his arms crossed over his chest in annoyance.
"Would you like (y/n) to destroy the camp we just set up?" Gojo countered. You held back a smile as Megumi's eyes went wide as he turned to trek into the woods with his friends.
It'd had been a while since you'd had a chance to unleash your might, and now was the ideal time. None of your students - or more so Gojo's students - had gone against an elemental cursed technique, and with the unknown of sentient curses appearing it was time to show off what you could do.
Years had gone by since the school had found and honed your jujitsu. Elemental Jitsu had been considered rare and ultimately something only seen in special grade curses, specifically fire. So a small girl with a glimmer of green in her eyes and vines at her fingertips had surprised the elders greatly. None of the current students or teachers knew of your strength except Gojo. The barrier hiding the school damped the forests surrounding it, leaving you essentially powerless through the majority of your life since being discovered. So you stayed at the school, became a teacher, and were kept confined to the spaces deemed 'safe' for you to go.
When Gojo had asked you to come, you knew it was because he wanted you to feel alive again. For that you were grateful. The plants slowly taking over your classroom did little to make you feel truly at home, even if they thrived under your watch. The sometimes negligent teacher was one of the few people who knew what you could do and always encouraged you to use your powers when given the chance.
And now you finally had that chance.
After walking about twenty minutes into the woods Gojo stopped and motioned you to stand beside him. "Do you guys know why we're going to be camping this weekend?" He asked, looking at his students standing across from him.
The three of them stared at him blankly. "Today (y/n) is going to show you her special technique, and you're going to learn how to fight against it."
Yuji raised his eyebrows in surprise, "You want us to hit her?" He asked, scratching the back of his neck timidly. Gojo just let out a laugh and slung his arm over your shoulder. "You sure can try."
For a second you looked up at the man around you, his white hair was messy for once. It was nice seeing a more relaxed side of him despite the mess they were in recently. Gojo caught your eye, a teasing glimmer reflecting from his blue eyes as he looked down at you with a smirk. You felt his arm slip from your shoulder, his hand trailing to the small of your back.
With a light blush on your face, you stepped forward, out of Gojo's reach. For a moment you hesitated, suddenly wishing you hadn't shrugged him off. But now wasn't the time, you had a job to do. Students to teach.
You turned back to look at Gojo, he nodded knowingly. "Start."
Yuji stepped forward first, taking a defensive position. His fists were ready to block anything you could throw at him.
With a deep breath you pointed your index and middle finger at the ground, a low rumbling sounded as the ground beneath you began to sway. Yuji faltered for a second fear crossing his features, unsure of what was going to happen. The other two students looked at the ground in fear, stepping further away from their friend; Out of the line of fire.
You couldn't help the smile that crept on your face as you began whispering to yourself. Suddenly two columns of roots shot out of the forest floor and grasped your arms, lifting you into the air. You temporarily lost your balance, it'd been a while and you were a bit out of practice and off-balance. Wiping the floor with these high school students would be easy.
Itadori officially looked scared. Nobara on the other hand was openly laughing at the expression on his face and recording his reactions. You paused, trying to give Yuji a chance to collect himself.
The sound of Gojo's chuckle sent a chill down your spine, it was now or never. With a slight flick of the wrist, vines shot up and bound Yuji's fists and forearms. You were still being held in the air, safe from any of his potential attacks. He struggled to free his hands, the vines only growing tighter as they pulled him to his knees.
Megumi stepped forward, quickly summoning his shikigami. This was a training session and it was important not to hurt your students or their familiars. When the large bird swooped at you from the treetops you knew what you had to do. Suddenly bright blue flowers sprouted along the vines you'd summoned. The petals bloomed on command as you pointed toward Nue. The owl wasn't quick enough to fly out of the blue cloud of pollen that was sent it's way.
"You better catch him," You encouraged giving a small smile to Megumi. His shikigami were important to him and although any injuries sustained during this test were superficial you still didn't want to cause any problems. The dark-haired boy listened with wide eyes, almost diving to catch his pet as the pollen put it to sleep peacefully. The remaining blue dust falling onto the battlefield in front of you.
Finally, it was Nobaras turn, she smirked up at you as she finally put her phone into her uniform pocket. While she'd enjoy teasing them with that footage later it was time for her to try her hand at defeating - or even touching you. For a moment you couldn't help but let your eyes wander over to your colleague. It'd been a while since he'd made a sound or spoke and you'd almost forgotten he was there. Gojo was leaning against a nearby tree to your right.
He was relaxed, his arms crossed as he smiled at you smugly. As your eyes met he sent you a wink. You looked away shyly, facing Nobara as she stood ready for her turn. Nobara was on the offensive, nails and hammer in hand as you looked back at her.
Within a second the three nails in her hand shot out, throwing them towards the left column of roots holding you up. Quickly you braced yourself for the impact. Her nails ripped through the vines and as you felt your stability slip. Your hand shot out again, summoning branches to grow from the untouched column you still had. A canopy grew, stopping you from falling. Nobara gritted her teeth in response, her grip on the hammer tightening. "You don't have to go easy on me." you said, a teasing smile on your face as you lowered yourself to sit on the newly grown canopy, the lush leaves tickling your skin.
"I won't anymore," Nobara said, arm twisting to call the nails back, still embedded in the shredded roots. Reaching into her jacket she fetched her doll. You felt Gojo's eyes land on you yet again, his stare digging into your side. Slowly you looked over at him, his blue eyes questioning if this was okay.
You nodded slightly, your stare hardening as you turned back towards the teenage girl, another nail was in her hand now. It was too fast to fully dodge as it grazed your arm. The tip of the nail scraping you slightly, just enough to feel it sting.
Nobara's smirk widened seeing the blood run down your arm. Her focus turned back towards the voodoo doll, reaching into her pocket she withdrew another nail, the point sharper than the others as she ran it along the arm of the doll.
Small scratches appeared on your arm as she did so. Red marks following her actions. Her eyes trailed back to you slowly before she dug the sharp nail into the shoulder of the doll. Pain shot down your back and shoulder. Severe enough make you hiss. You knew Gojo must've been looking at you with concern, you waved him off as you steeled yourself and let your injured arm go limp.
Nobara was good, especially for her age. But you had years of practice and research to learn what you could do. You were unique. Something unlike anything these kids have ever seen.
Crouching you leaned down towards the branches holding you up. Touching one of the leaves lovingly. "You've still got a lot to learn, Nobara."
"What are you talking about-" She was cut off by the sound of cracking wood, her scream following shortly after as vines grabbed her from behind tugging her five feet until her back hit the tree with a thud. Nobara struggled against the confines but failed. The blue blossoms growing on the vines around her as a silent threat.
She was trapped.
When she stopped fighting against the confines you released her carefully and climbed down from your makeshift tower. "You guys did great!"
All three students looked shocked, each unable to speak after what they'd just witnessed. "Go back to the camp," Gojo said, still unmoving from his spot leaning against the tree. Black glasses securely covering his eyes again. "We'll meet you there later."
The students nodded before a grin lit up Yuji's face "That was incredible (y/n)!" Nobara grumbled behind him, pulling him back towards the camp by his collar.
When they were out of earshot Gojo turned towards you. "Are you hurt?"
You couldn't help but scoff in response "It may have been a long time but they're still kids, Satoru."
"Don't underestimate them."
"Don't underestimate me then. I may not be the best. I may not be Gojo Satoru, but I am damn good at my job."
"Oh yeah?" He said, pushing himself off the tree to face you, walking closer and leaning over you. "If you're so good, why don't you fight me then."
You felt your breath get caught in your throat at how close he was, his glasses down around his nose as he stared you down. He looked deeply into your eyes, searching for something, you weren't sure what.
"Fine. What do I get when I win?"
Gojo let out a laugh, straightening as he lifted his glasses back up cooley. "The better question is what you'll lose when I win."

Paper Cranes Part 1 - Viktor x Reader
Tumblr media
Word Count: 1,185
Warnings: None
Summary: As a discovery changes the future of Piltover it also changes the course of your relationship with your colleague.
A/N: I hope the Arcane hype hasn't died yet, I couldn't stop myself from writing about Vik.
You can find the rest of this series on my pinned post!
"Professor please, reconsider." I begged, following closely behind the yordle. Our footsteps echoed throughout the long hallway on the way to his office. Despite his small stature and old age it was somehow hard to keep up.
"This isn't right, (y/n)." Professor Heimerdinger sighed, "What he wants to do is unacceptable. He's already been expelled from the academy. The council decided."
"You could change that!" I urged, holding out the leather bound journal Viktor had taken from Jayce. "Everything he's worked for since he was a child is written on these pages." His office was in front of us now. The heavy oak door would quickly end the conversation. "If you would just take the time to read it-"
"(y/n)" Heimerdinger began, cutting me off and slowly turning towards me. "What he's proposed is preposterous. Everything Mr. Talis has been doing is dangerous, not to mention highly unethical and illegal. I cannot let him continue with his work."
Slowly I brought the journal to my chest, wrapping my arms around it in defeat. "Yes Professor." Pressing it any further after multiple failed attempts since the trial would do us no good.
As the silence set in, Heimerdinger pulled out his keys, quickly unlocking the large oak door and slipping behind it. The thick door shut with a loud thud, its finality echoing down the halls.
It's over. Just like that.
I don't know why this bothered me so much. I didn't even know the inventor, some random guy from Piltover who accidentally indirectly exploded his own laboratory. Sure, there had been mumblings about some kids being the real cause. But in the academy's eyes, there was only one person to blame: Jayce Talis
The whole experience had been disappointing. Viktor and I had hope finally, for the future of Piltover and our families in the underground. That hope was almost gone.
I'd let him down.
The walk back to Viktor's room was sorrowful. I didn't know what to tell him, we had so much riding on this. We thought that maybe, just maybe we could get through to the professor. Change his mind or even make him more amenable.
It wasn't far from the office to Viktor's room and before I knew it I was in front of his door. Hesitantly I raised my hand to knock. A split second before my fist hit the wood it swung open, Viktor's face was smiling back at me. "How'd it go?"
My eyes fell to the floor as I moved past him into the room. Slowly shaking my head in disappointment.
"I suspect it didn't go as planned." He surmised, the smile fading from his face as he shut the door behind me. "That's okay, (y/n). We both knew it was another futile attempt anyway."
"He's not willing to listen to either of us." I groaned. Viktor had already tried earlier in the day. If Heimer's favorite apprentice and assistant couldn't get through then no one could.
"The professor is just a scared old man. The past has blinded him to the future. We just need to open his eyes." Vikor assured, leaning on his cane. I shook my head at him, sitting down on the edge of his bed. Notes were scattered everywhere, the pages crinkling under my weight.
"How are we supposed to do that?"
"Leave it to me." He said, hobbling over to his desk and grabbing some notes. "I'll need the journal as well."
I nodded, quickly handing it over to my colleague and friend as he got ready to walk out the door. "So how are you going to change the professor's mind?"
Viktor looked back at me with a small smile, his eyes gazing softly at me. "I'm not going to change Hemierdingers mind, (y/n). I'm going to change Jayce's."
I nodded at him slowly, not fully understanding his words. Viktor's cane tapped lightly against the bedroom floor as he walked out the door, shutting it quietly behind him. With a sigh, I dropped down onto the bed, alone with my thoughts and years of intricate notes.
Viktor was dedicated to his work, he never took any time to focus on himself or the people around him. This was the first time he seemed invested in something else - someone else. Someone else's ideas and inventions.
One day hopefully he would take the time to see me for more than just my creations or occasional input.
Seeing him so excited for something got me excited for it as well. I wonder what information he'd return with.
Pulling myself up I found an empty sheet of paper, free of any notes or Viktor's tired ramblings. With a small smile, I carefully folded the edges, imagining his reaction when he returned to his room and found the small gift. I hope he'll like it, something unique amongst the mess.
Simple and delicate yet beautiful, like him.
A paper crane. It was the first time I'd ever left him one.
A day had gone by since I'd seen him, walking down the hallway with Jayce and councilor Medarda but I hadn't gotten a chance to catch his eye. I'd heard mumblings around the academy. Another hearing for Jayce Talis was going to be held, this time with the help of Mel Medarda.
They seemed to become a sensation overnight and Viktor was nowhere to be found after that. The whole academy was bubbling with rumors of the 'magic' Jayce and Viktor had discovered. I suppose the recent innovation had rightfully gained some recognition for the pair.
In an attempt to track down Viktor again, I walked towards his room, my thoughts racing at the potential of the new discovery. Turning a corner I heard a crowd talking. As I got closer I realized the swarm was outside Viktor's room. Academy students tripping over themselves trying to get a chance to speak with Jayce and Viktor.
The sight stopped me dead in my tracks, my smile faltering. "Things are going to start changing around here, (y/n)." Professor Heimerdinger said, stepping out of the shadows. His poro followed closely behind. "Viktor's life has officially changed and he's going to be very busy from now on. Maybe even too busy for you." The yordle said matter of factly.
"I have faith in him professor, just like I had faith in you. Viktor is my friend," Liar, the word branded into my brain. What if Heimerdinger was right. "He won't abandon me for sixty seconds of fame."
"I hope you're right my dear, I'd hate to see you suffer during this time of revelation." With that, the professor walked away from the crowd and away from me, his poro giving me one last dejected glance as it followed.
Those words lingered in the air around me. A seed of doubt planted in my mind. The crowd didn't seem to be dissipating around the academics any time soon. So, I turned to leave, my attempts at speaking to Viktor ultimately squashed by his newfound admirers.
I'm sure he'll make time for me eventually.
I hope.

I know I say it all the time but I'm back from hiatus and I've got some Gojo imagines that I'll post sometime this week as well as some Arcane stuff. I couldn't stop myself, the withdrawl I'm getting from that show is insane.
