I never bothered pointing this out but I felt like posting something about Black Star.

In the manga, Black Star only wears the metal like tie/shawl when he’s on a mission. Even if he were to engage in combat, he does not wear it on school grounds - exception if he is training under supervision of a teacher.

In the anime, Black Star wears the tie/shawl almost always, whether he’s looking for Excalibur with Kid, sitting in the classroom or having a picknick.

Nearing the end of the manga, the metal tie is replaced with a black shawl/scarf. This too, he only wears on missions.

Reason why Black Star wears the ‘shawl’ only on missions is because they are a feature of the old Japanese ninja/spy/assassin, which is what he is. Off mission, he does not need to be one.

Perhaps his shawl became the object that went through the most remarkable changes (be it his fashion choice or Tsubaki) because it’s the most fundamental part of his identity as an assassin. Since he strives to be a god of war, his shawl now probably carries a different meaning.

More often than not, I have come across RPers in the community who seem uncomfortable, nervous, anxious, or who will downright refuse to RP with male muns because it’s “creepy”, “wrong”, and a whole slew of other unfounded, bases bullshit.

Male muns have as much right to RP on Tumblr as do female muns, as do anyone else.

Trust me when I say there IS a lot of hate tossed at male RPers on here.
