The crux of a blogging site is to talk about your feelings. So Will should be able to talk about his, especially on his own blog. If you don’t like him and what he has to say, why do you follow him? It seems like you’re just taking the opportunity to belittle him.

The first will be no shocker at all, but if you’re planning on trying out for the Gryffindor Quidditch team, tryouts begin on Monday. Unfortunately, Gryffindor doesn’t have practice until Thursday, but we’ll be having four days of try-outs – I already booked the pitch for Friday and Sunday night after dinner, and we have a regular Saturday afternoon practice I expect you to be at, too. I hope to see you guys all out there, even guys; don’t be intimidated by the fact that we’re basically the Hogwarts Holyhead Harpies right now.

And the second super important matter – who wants to judge an ab competition between me and @slytherinjake? We need unbiased critics here.

I wish you luck with the tryouts, Gracie! I hope you find a slew of excellent players. I’ll be rooting for Gryffindor, except when you’re playing Ravenclaw, of course.

Two SUPER important matters

I’m usually super excited about my birthday but this year it honestly just feels like another day. Maybe because it fell on a weekday and how much can you really celebrate when you have classes? 

My birthday is only a couple of weeks after the beginning of term, which means people are usually still missing summer and not at all inclined to have a party.

Well, Loki’s outdone himself this time. He didn’t actually manage to harm any students, but he knocked Professor Thor out with a crystal ball for a good few minutes last night. Thor is convinced it was an accident, but there conveniently were no witnesses.

Thor’s opinion of his brother is much too high. Not to be disrespectful of a professor, but Loki has proven more than once to have less than innocent intentions. Do you have any idea why Loki would try to brain his own brother?

If you were cupid, who would you set Victoria up with for Valentine's Day?

Victoria is stunning, so I doubt she would need my help with procuring a date for Valentine’s Day – or any other day, for that matter.

I would like to help pass them out, actually. I think it’s a good enterprise for as many people as possible to be a part of. Perhaps we could encourage the people we give a flower to do something nice for others. Not necessarily giving out a flower, but another kind gesture.

It really does. It’s insane how quiet it is up there considering how many people are in the castle. 

I suppose that’s one of the things that people like about flying. I’m a little too queasy about heights to enjoy a broom, but the Tower obviously seems more...steady.

I accidentally turn my father’s favorite fountain pen into a stick of licorice, because I was hungry. --for which I am still sorry, Baba, if you ever see this.

Which is a weird sensation, I’ll admit. I know the magic, sure, - but I’ve managed to get lost twice already, and I still have no idea where I’m supposed to sit during lunch. At least the Gryffindor common room’s a nice place to hideaway.

I’m sure you’ll find your way around soon enough. Hogwarts is a mercurial castle, but the people here -- students as well as teachers -- are for the most part very nice, and won’t hesitate to help if you need it. 

I feel like a first year again.

Alright! My goal for next week is to give a flower to every single person I see. I’ve been working on this awesome new charm that will turn a piece of string into a daisy and I need to spread the love!

That’s a very sweet goal. I’m sure it will bring some cheer to everyone in the castle, which is certainly very much needed at this point.
