The Favored Genius Doctor and Businesswoman - Chapter 118 - Young Entrepreneur (青年企业家)
When the car started, Jing Yunzhao’s expression turned a little dark, but she was used to being patient, thus she did not express much dissatisfaction. After all, it was related to her medical skills.
Although she has not been studying medicine for a long time, she had the ability. However,  due to her age and identity, she wasn’t able to treat a patient. Even if it was only a small opportunity right now, she did not want to let it go.
Jing Yunzhao was sitting shotgun, while the two men were sitting behind. Li Shaoyun seemed sloppy and irresponsible, but the frequency of him speaking suddenly became lesser.
Sitting by the side, Du Lin couldn’t resist feeling awkward as he stole glances at the people. He tried to alleviate the mood and laughed as he asked, “Student, what’s your name?”
It should be said that with this female student’s appearance, she should be considered on the standard of being the school belle. She was thin, had a cold attitude, and even had a lofty aura. Was it possible that she was also some rich daughter from an influential family in the capital?
Her voice was indifferent as she answered, “Jing Yunzhao.”
Du Lin anxiously pulled out a business card and introduced himself, "My name is Du Lin, a local. You can call me Du-Ge or Lin-Ge. Since we’re already acquainted, I’ll drop the formalities. Calling you Student feels very distant, I’ll just call you Yunzhao.”
Du Lin had on a face of trying to please her and was very passionate.
Jing Yunzhao nodded politely and took a look at the name card in her hands.
Surprise flashed through her eyes.
This person, Du Lin, was also very famous in her past life. He was a youth entrepreneur who ran a moderately-scaled restaurant. However, even though the career of this person was on the rise, the popularity of the branding he established was only limited to Ning City. When she read it on the newspaper, she even envied that this person was young and promising, and speculated that his future would be immeasurable.
However, looking at the information written on the business card, she could tell that Du Lin’s ‘Yu Tian Xian Restaurant’ had only just begun in this life.
Jing Yunzhao looked at these two with suspicion in her eyes. Logically speaking, Li Shaoyun’s ’Tian Xiang Lou’ should have some sort of conflict with Yu Tian Xian, but these two were actually friends?
T/N: For past readers, you might remember him being the owner of Xiang Hai Lou/Restaurant, but the author changed it to Tian Xiang Lou, and continues to use this for the next 10 chapters. So for now, I’ll continue using Tian Xiang Lou unless otherwise
Feeling the suspicious gaze of Jing Yunzhao, Li Shaoyun's mouth smiled slightly: "Du Lin’s family’s ancestors had once been an imperial chef. Complying with their family training, their skills and secret recipes cannot be spread or sold. Although Tian Xiang Lou is high-end, the dishes are not particularly unique, and the service is more all-rounded. The two are not the same."
Simply put, Yu Tian Xian only provided meals and did not include accommodation. While Li Shaoyun's Tian Xiang Lou included entertainment, rest, catering and other aspects of a one-stop service.
"I intend to create the dishes in the county, before going to Ning City to expand, then spread it to all parts of the country and even overseas through chain management. I want to make it so that everyone would first think of Yu Tian Xian the moment someone talks about food." Du Lin teased. Please consider reading at mehtranslations. wordpress. com // mehtranslations. tumblr. com ?
“I believe in you.”
In contrary, Du Lin was dazed, "Children truly believe in everything. My goal is still very difficult to achieve. Just like right now, I have encountered a big problem. Yu Tian Xian has enough capital and has the best location. We also have unique recipes, but we don’t have the best ingredients."
Hua Ning County was located near mountains and rivers. It was reasonable to say that the quality of the ingredients was good, and although there were not many toxins in the food, compared to the level of the royal banquet, there was a huge gap. No matter how he did it, his father would shake his head and sigh, disdaining it in every way possible.
If he were to use his relationship with Li Shaoyun to import the best things from other places, then the price would be unacceptable.
After Jing Yunzhao listened, she carefully kept the business card as light shined in her pupils.
Li Shaoyun’s move of coercing her into the car wasn’t entirely a bad thing.
According to her knowledge, all the ingredients Du Lin had used were known to be first-class products selected from all over the world in her past life. Unfortunately, the cost was extremely high, which led to the food of Yu Tian Xian to be famous, but not grounded. One of the reasons it was famous was its sky-high price. However, the average person was unable to afford such a feast, and thus limitations of the business appeared.

FH has something to say:
very belated, but thanks for waiting! shreds it into confetti and holds a party
The Favored Genius Doctor and Businesswoman - Chapter 117 - Consulting a Doctor for a Minor Illness (小病求医)
In his heart, Du Lin thought, ‘The one Li Shaoyun is waiting for shouldn’t be a student. After all, those who are very knowledgeable in medicine and the likes should be an old fellow past their middle ages. Either that, or it could be one of the teachers in this school.’
After pondering for a while, only then did he see Li Shaoyun suddenly walk towards a figure.
Du Lin’s eyes lit up, and he turned to look, but with just a glance, the smiling expression on his face froze instantly, and he looked onwards with great interest. He wasn’t the only one, even the chauffeur’s mouth twitched, evidently feeling that Li Shaoyun’s words were too unreliable.
Jing Yunzhao’s sight darkened as her path was blocked by someone, but when lifting her head to find out who it was, she leaked out hints of surprise.
“Mr. Li?”
Li Shaoyun only wore a thin white shirt, so one could vaguely see the muscles of his arms. Below his long black eyebrows were a pair of eyes that carried a hint of a smile, causing the people who looked at them to be dazzled.
As Li Shaoyun smiled, Jing Yunzhao, in turn, felt that this guy was shining; Truly too eye-catching, especially here in front of the school gate. Girls at this age all held a certain infatuation towards people or things that were good looking. She didn’t want to be involved in another rumor just after she had broken herself out of one.
She took a step back to ensure a safe distance.
Li Shaoyun eyes showed he was flabbergasted, but he recovered quickly and asked, “Student Jing, could I borrow some of your time?”
Feeling the gazes from their surroundings, Jing Yunzhao’s eyebrows furrowed minutely but nodded as she reluctantly got into the car.
After all, with car windows to block the stares from outside, she wouldn’t be treated like a gorilla in an exhibition to be gazed upon.
“Is there a reason why Mr. Li is looking for me?” Jing Yunzhao asked politely.
Li Shaoyun was also mocking himself in his heart. A reason? Of course, there was none. He himself didn’t know what kind of evil influence he was under. They happened to pass by the road beside the school today when he suddenly thought that it was almost time for dismissal, so he conveniently came over to take a look.
(T/N: You’re starting to get infatuated with her as per plot armour www)
Ever since he saw Jing Yunzhao at Xu Bai’s place, he has developed an interest towards this little girl. Especially since he was about to return to the capital in a few days, he couldn’t help but think whether he should bid farewell to the little girl.
Of course, he was also aware that the both of them weren’t that familiar with each other. But no matter what, it could be said that Xu Bai had ‘handed over’ the girl to him already. He even asked him to take good care of her...
Li Shaoyun scratched his nose and, with a smile, replied, “The situation is like this, this is my friend Du Lin. His father hasn’t been feeling well recently so I’d like for you to take a look at it.”Please consider reading at mehtranslations. wordpress. com // mehtranslations. tumblr. com ?
Du Lin snorted and rolled his eyes.
Pretend! Keep pretending! What about your friends? He was never this polite towards him before.
But on the surface of things, he still had to cooperate with Young Master Li. Who told him to be one of his investors and a major stockholder?
Grimacing, Du Lin answered, “Well, it’s like that…”
Li Shaoyun grinned in satisfaction.
Jing Yunzhao eyed the two with a weird expression, feeling that things were strange. However, the other party was a guest. She may think that this Young Master Li was a playboy, but they had still met a few times after all, so he wasn’t that polite towards her. Adding on to the fact that he was one of Xu Bai’s affiliates, she had to give him some face.
“Sadly Mr. Li, even though I may have a bit of medical knowledge, I do not have the rights to practice medicine, thus it’s unfortunate that I cannot comply with your wishes. I am very sorry,” Jing Yunzhao rejected him as politely as she could.
“It’s fine. Uncle Du only has a minor illness. Just write him a prescription appropriate for the illness. If it’s suitable then he’ll use it, if it’s not then we won’t force it, nothing will go wrong. Even if it does, I will not blame it on you, so just relax,” Li Shaoyun thickened his skin as he spoke, after which he indicated for the driver to start the car.
Du Lin only felt that today was the first time he truly knew Li Shaoyun.
In the past, he thought that Li Shaoyun was noble and refined. Even though he looked a bit androgynous, but facts were that he wasn’t someone the wild kids in a small place like this could touch. But now, he felt that this person who seemed cold and unworldly on the outside was actually a passionate guy internally.
Du Lin saw that this little girl of Li Shaoyun’s was very good-looking, he even ignored her age as he flirted. The thickness of his skin was really…
Truly the role model of their generation.

FH has something to say:
“Going on vaca next week, goodbye my little readers~ On another note, I'm contemplating increasing our release rate to once per week, but my Editors are all so busy with irl *sniffs*”
The Favored Genius Doctor and Businesswoman - Chapter 116 - Looking for A Miracle Doctor (找神医)
The space Jing Yunzhao owned was larger than this field by innumerable folds. Even though it could be said that she was only going through the stances for her martial arts, but more importantly, it was to train her breathing and physique.
Every day, she would run in her space for a considerable amount of time. Combined with practising the breathing methods taught by the cultivation manual, she could now run 10 laps without breaking a sweat, let alone five.
“I heard someone in Class 2 say that the matter of Jing Yunzhao being pregnant was also a rumor that Qiao Hongye cooked up…” As she was running, Jing Yunzhao kept an ear out to the gossiping going on and heard some people talking.
“It can’t be?”
“It’s true! My friend suspects that it was when Qiao Hongye had seen Gan Jinchen and Jing Yunzhao arrive at school together. Other people didn’t know of the situation then too, so it suddenly became the truth…”  The girl defended.
Class 2 was lagging behind Class 1 by an entire lap, so they were currently still following behind the rear of Class 1. The conversation ahead was also overheard by Qiao Hongye.
She clenched her teeth, her heart cold, but she could only endure.
Qiao Hongye stared at Jing Yunzhao from behind, unresigned. Her steps slowed down and became heavier, yet Jing Yunzhao’s were still not slowing down as she moved onwards with a relaxed pace. It was as if she was just taking a stroll; She didn’t look tired at all! This suddenly gave Qiao Hongye a sense of inferiority.
A few laps later, Qiao Hongye’s legs didn’t feel like they belonged to her anymore, but the other students still wouldn’t let her off. They kept forcing her to participate in the activities after that. The unceasing lines of provocations made her feel muddleheaded as her head felt like it was about to combust.
At the same time, a car was parked outside the field. The figure inside stared at a certain figure on the field, their face exposing a complicated look.
"What’s this, Young Master Li? It can't be that you've fallen for one of the female students in that group?!" A companion sitting by the man’s side teased.
The owner of the voice also swept their eyes across the field, and he couldn't help but sigh. Being a student sure is great. He could feel the youthful atmosphere even from across the distance.
"Since we’re already here, I wanted to look for someone," The corner of Young Master Li’s mouth curved, and he told the driver to drive the car towards the school gate. He leisurely watched the ongoings of the field, patiently waiting.
“Look for someone? There shouldn’t be anyone in your family who attends this school though?” His companion, Du Lin (杜霖), was dumbstruck and asked in surprise.
Even though the ancestral home of the Li Family was in Hua Ning County, Li Shaoyun would only return for a short period of time once a year, thus he didn’t have many friends here. The only ones he were truly familiar with was probably him alone. In fact, while this Young Master Li’s attitude might make him look like a playboy, the reality was that he was one who didn’t indulge himself in lust. Also, his patience was comparable to a sesame seed or even smaller. No one has ever seen him wait for anyone so patiently.
“Wasn’t Uncle not feeling well recently? Coincidentally, I managed to acquaint myself with a miracle doctor. Let’s bring them over so they can take a look at him,” Li Shaoyun randomly found himself an excuse.
Du Lin’s expression stiffened, “Young Master Li, you’re kidding me right? My dad only has a toothache…”
“Wasn’t it said that the pain of a toothache can make one hurt to the point of wanting to end their lives? It’s my duty to be worried,” Li Shaoyun shamelessly spoke.
Du Lin was speechless.
His words may not be wrong, but his dad had only met Li Shaoyun three times so far; They couldn’t even be considered to have an adequate relationship. Plus, when speaking of miracle doctors, shouldn’t they be found deep in the mountains and dense forests, hiding from the world, or staying in some sort of clinic? But they were now in a school! He could maybe let it go if it was a university, but this was a high school...Please consider reading at mehtranslations. wordpress. com // mehtranslations. tumblr. com ?
Du Lin’s curiosity rapidly rose. He followed Li Shaoyun’s gaze and tried to identify the ‘Miracle Doctor’ from the students, but he still couldn’t see anyone who had the unique characteristics of a miracle doctor after a while. As a matter of fact, they were all little rascals who were below 18 years old. They couldn't even be considered adults!
After another 10 to 20 minutes had passed, the bell to signify the end of the class rang. It was also finally the time for the students to be dismissed.
Li Shaoyun's car was luxurious yet low-key. The students couldn't read anything off of it, but when Li Shaoyun opened the door and stood outside to wait, his handsome appearance attracted the gazes of many female students.

The Favoured Genius Doctor and Businesswoman - Chapter 115 - Going Against on Purpose (故意针对)
Qiao Hongye’s deskmate’s words had some influence, Some people even thought, ‘Even Qiao Hongye’s ex-best friend hates her, it really goes to show just how much of a hypocrite she is!’
“That’s right, that’s right! All of us are going to run, so why is it only her that’s allowed to just sit aside and do nothing? If Teacher is going to be biased, then no one will participate in class today!” someone else spoke up.
As soon as the words were spoken, every student agreed with the idea.
The male teacher’s eyes widened in shock, and he felt that something was not quite right. Did the sun rise from the west this morning? Usually, wasn’t it obvious that he wanted Qiao Hongye to at least give it a go, but nobody would let him?
Nevertheless, this teacher was still a male and did not understand a girl’s heart. Seeing so many people currently rebuking Qiao Hongye, he even thought that his teaching methods had finally come to fruition.
“Look, Qiao Hongye! Everyone else is planning on running, so shouldn’t you at least put in some effort?” The male teacher tested the waters as he glimpsed at Jing Yunzhao who was currently leading her class, and continued, “In the past, Jing Yunzhao’s physique also wasn’t very good, but every time she still gave her all. Look at how obvious the results of her efforts are now! You should try to learn a little from her.”
This time, Qiao Hongye felt wronged to the point where she wanted to cry. Too bad for her however, as nobody fell for her act since she had previously shed too many tears already.
Now that even the teacher was comparing her to Jing Yunzhao, what little pride she had left was provoked. Finding herself watching how the others were going against her again, she accepted her fate and went back to the group.
“Since you’re here, then you can lead the class too. Students of Class 2, try not to lose to those of Class 1!” The male teacher gave some encouragement as his heart felt excited.
It was a large milestone in his educational career for students to take the initiative to listen to his words!
Qiao Hongye had on a bitter expression as she stood before the two rows of students, shouting “One! Two! One! Two!” in an almost angry yet nervous tone.
“Qiao Hongye, why is your voice as soft as a mosquito’s? Who could possibly hear you?” her deskmate mocked her sarcastically.
Those words were, in fact, the truth. No matter how one looked at the situation, it couldn’t be said that she was purposely giving Qiao Hongye a hard time
Class 1 was no more than 10 metres away from the other class, yet Jing Yunzhao’s voice was exceedingly clear. It was a melodious and sweet sound, and it didn’t cause others to feel that it was noisy. On the other hand, Qiao Hongye’s voice was lethargic and completely absent of any energy or spirit. It was as if the whole class was bullying her. Additionally, although her running speed was slow, the rest of them were not allowed to overtake her. This feeling was similar to being leaden down by weights. They were already feeling tired even though they had just started running.
Qiao Hongye was almost angered to death, and she couldn’t hold in her temper for much longer. This time, she raised her voice and howled, “One, two! One, two! One…”
“Can you run faster?! Do you think you’re a girl from some noble house? Are you taking those tiny little steps to try to tire us all to death?!” Someone else spoke up again from the crowd.
Her face was now red with anger. Ever since she started high school, she had almost never used these thighs of hers to run before. How could she be compared with Jing Yunzhao, that coarse bastard?
Even only having run for a short while, she was already exhausted to the point where she almost couldn’t move. Yet now they wanted her to run faster? Please consider reading at mehtranslations. wordpress. com // mehtranslations. tumblr. com ?
Qiao Hongye’s grudge towards Jing Yunzhao deepened even further.
She couldn’t understand. Clearly, Jing Yunzhao would also collapse from running a few steps in the past, but recently her stamina and endurance were much better than ever before. Was it possible that everything from before was all an act?
The more she remained on this train of thought, the more Qiao Hongye felt that her guess was right. She had even forgotten about how they would often starve Jing Yunzhao back in the Qiao family home, and how, because she was malnutritioned at the same time, Jing Yunzhao lacked the ability to do strenuous exercises.
Presently, as the leader of her class, Jing Yunzhao was attracting quite a lot of attention.
“The people bad-mouthing Jing Yunzhao behind her back and saying that she’s pregnant are too malicious. Looking at her condition, how can such a thing even be possible…” Students from other classes who were acquainted with Jing Yunzhao were unable to control themselves anymore and spoke up for her.
Five laps around the field wasn’t a distance to laugh at, but Jing Yunzhao was still relaxed as if it was nothing for her. How could this be possible if she really were pregnant?

FH is on steroids
The Favoured Genius Doctor and Businesswoman - Chapter 114 - Pretending to be Sick (装病)
Upon hearing Qiao Hongye’s words, Jing Yunzhao couldn’t help but reveal a subtle sneer.
“The hawk that played all day was pecked in the eyes by a common sparrow. You’re blaming me?” Jing Yunzhao tossed out those words before leaving.
Qiao Hongye was always scheming against others, and she couldn’t say she hadn’t been looking for trouble. However, even at this time, she didn’t forget to continue acting innocent and pure. This level of “perseverance” was really admirable.
Although there were quite a few students around, Jing Yunzhao’s retort was undoubtedly confirming everything Qiao Hongye had done before. At this point, Qiao Hongye’s chagrin and tears were incapable of moving anybody. As a matter of fact, they were even a bit scared of this girl who seemed to always be putting up an act.
Qiao Hongye inwardly cursed at Jing Yunzhao before heading to the field with her head lowered.
The gym teachers of Class 1 and Class 2 were like quarrelsome lovers. They had a good relationship but liked to compete with each other, so every week, they would toss the students about.
It was no exception this time. When the bell rang, the two teachers had their respective students do a few warm-up exercises before directing sending them off to run five laps around the field.
Jing Yunzhao used to be thin and weak, so she had been unable to persist long in gym class. Even the teacher couldn’t do anything about it.
However, recently Jing Yunzhao was different from before. She could keep up with the rest of the class and afterwards, still be brimming with energy. It made Class 1’s teacher really proud.
It must be mentioned that Jing Yunzhao of Class 1 and Qiao Hongye of Class 2 were both top students, but they were also the burdens in gym class. The former couldn’t last long, and the latter always reported either a stomachache or a headache.
Qiao Hongye hated gym class the most, so she would feel sick every time. The other students would immediately rush to pander her, and the teacher would be helpless. Therefore, often times when the rest of the students were tired to death, Qiao Hongye would be gently watching them from the sidelines.
Compared to the girls who would be drenched in sweat after exercising, Qiao Hongye’s freshness would naturally be more appealing.
“Teacher, I…” She opened her mouth to say the usual.
“Enough, go sit over there,” the gym teacher interrupted with a dismissing wave of his hand. In truth, he didn’t like such a weak girl, but her grades were good. Whenever he and the class teacher talked about this, the class teacher would prohibit him from doing anything, so what could he do? He could only turn a blind eye.
Hearing Class 2’s teacher say that, Class 1’s female teacher grinned and asked deliberately, “Jing Yunzhao, is your body still okay?”
Both were good students, and both had a fragile body, but Jing Yunzhao could keep up with her class while Qiao Hongye could not!
“Yes.” Jing Yunzhao nodded. The female teacher threw a smug glance at Class 2’s male teacher and adding, “In that case, Jing Yunzhao, let’s have you lead the class!”
Now, Class 2 was dissatisfied. How come Jing Yunzhao could run, but their Qiao Hongye couldn’t? Qiao Hongye looked fatter and healthier than Jing Yunzhao, too. Every time the former would fake illness, couldn’t she come up with something new?
“Teacher, I refuse to accept this!” Qiao Hongye’s deskmate was the first to speak up. “Qiao Hongye was fine this afternoon, so how come she can fake illness and just sit aside?”

The Great Vo has decided to volunteer to convert all of our texts to British English, but this wont affect any of the storyline contents etc. Have fun reading!
The Favored Genius Doctor and Businesswoman - Chapter 113 - Too Vicious (太恶毒)
Qiao Hongye’s declining reputation directly improved Jing Yunzhao’s. On this day, just about everyone held sympathy for Jing Yunzhao.
The students of both classes were now discussing how Qiao Hongye had intended to secretly rob Jing Yunzhao. Even Qiao Hongye’s deskmates, Zhang Hao, Dong Yi, and the others began to elaborate on Jing Yunzhao’s innocence. All of the old rumors circulating around Jing Yunzhao were instantly cleared away and deemed unfounded.
“She had it coming!” When Xiao Haiqing heard that Qiao Hongye was being alienated, she immediately became overjoyed. “Yunzhao, just now I went to Class 2 and took a look. Qiao Hongye is crying on her desk right now! She looks like a weeping beauty, but no one is paying her any attention. All of the boys who used to coddle her are now afraid to be associated with her. It feels great!”
Xiao Haiqing was the one who had helped Jing Yunzhao find people to set up Qiao Hongye, so Xiao Haiqing was naturally aware that the rumors about Qiao Hongye were not actually true. The fact that they were false would further boost Qiao Hongye’s anger. After all, ever since enrolling in the school, Jing Yunzhao had suffered incessantly from these kind of painful misunderstandings. Letting Qiao Hongye have a taste of her own medicine was only fair!
“Haiqing, thank you very much,” Jing Yunzhao said with a laugh. Xiao Haiqing threw her a contemptuous look. “The hell are you thanking me for? There’s no need for thanks between us!”
“Oh, right! Though Qiao Hongye is out of luck now, there’re still people who don’t believe in your innocence! I’m telling you, they’re all blind!” Xiao Haiqing started to fume again. Her tolerance had been getting worse and worse ever since she met Jing Yunzhao. Anyone who provoked Xiao Haiqing, someone who already had a fiery temper to begin with, would definitely be unlucky. Jing Yunzhao, on the other hand, was like a glass of cool water; she was perfunctory and without fervor, causing Xiao Haiqing to feel worried on her behalf.
“Don’t we have gym next? If I really was pregnant, I wouldn’t be able to do any vigorous exercise,” Jing Yunzhao pointed out leisurely.
For this gym session, Class 1 and Class 2 happened to be together, and every time this happened, the two classes would compete against each other. This time was no different. When the time came, the students would see for themselves whether or not she was pregnant. There was no need for her to explain.
Xiao Haiqing gave her two thumbs up, indicating her agreement.
Soon, the bell rang, and the two classes rushed to the playground. Qiao Hongye was absentminded as she meekly followed behind them, and then she coincidentally bumped into Jing Yunzhao.
Although Jing Yunzhao still looked very thin, she had spent several months practicing martial arts in her dimensional space. She was already very strong, and add on the fact that she deliberately exerted some force, Qiao Hongye fell directly onto the ground.
In an instant, Qiao Hongye’s eyes reddened again.
Jing Yunzhao quite admired her little sister for having such refine control over her tears ducts. Unfortunately for her, Jing Yunzhao continued to ignore her, and so did everyone else.
From behind, Qiao Hongye struggled to her feet and called out, “Jing Yunzhao!’”
“What?” Jing Yunzhao turned slightly and glanced back, disdain in her eyes. Qiao Hongye immediately felt provoked. She chewed on her lips and said, “Did you do this? I consider you my big sister, so why are you treating me like this? Why did you have to do me so much injustice?”
Over the past few lessons, she’d secretly listened to many of the rumors that were circulating around, and only then did she find out what people were saying about her. After pondering over it, she finally deduced the source of the rumors.
It must’ve been the work of those people she had encountered outside of the hotel that night. The other students must’ve seen the pictures those people had taken! Moreover, she was certain that Jing Yunzhao was the one behind it all. Jing Yunzhao caught Cao Xing and learned about everything Qiao Hongye had done to her in the past, so now Jing Yunzhao was using the same methods to deal with her!
Jing Yunzhao, you’re too vicious!

The Favored Genius Doctor and Businesswoman - Chapter 112 - The Resistance of a Weed (野草的反抗)
When a person was liked, her every word could be regarded as caring, but now that Qiao Hongye’s deskmate detested her, her words naturally became utterly jarring to the ears. Before, Qiao Hongye had mentioned Xin Xin’s parents and spoke in a delusive manner, warning Xin Xin about the possibility of her dad keeping a mistress and even going as far as to telling Xin Xin to forewarn her mom, which was what had resulted in a scolding.
Now, the more she thought about it, the more Qiao Hongye’s deskmate felt that Qiao Hongye had done it on purpose.
Furthermore, she now realized that she had been the weed, there to serve as an object of comparison between herself and Qiao Hongye. Who would be born willing to act as someone else’s foil? If Qiao Hongye was a genuinely pure girl, then fine, but what was Qiao Hongye in reality? Her actions weren’t things regular students would do. Xin Xin felt as though Qiao Hongye had soiled her eyes!
Qiao Hongye was shocked by her deskmate and turned red in a flash. “Xin Xin, I was just worried about you…” She responded, sounding aggrieved.
If it were before and Qiao Hongye showed this kind of expression, someone would immediately jump to her defense. But today was different. She was like a disease that disgusted everyone.
Zhang Hao and Dong Yi, the two former ‘flower protectors’ felt even more regretful, wondering how they had liked someone this deceitful.
“How fake!” Xin Xin looked at her disdainfully and straightforwardly stood up and dragged Qiao Hongye’s desk to the back of the classroom. “Only trash is suitable for someone as filthy as you!”
Afterwards, Xin Xin casually tossed the water bottle she had been drinking earlier into the trash bin nearby. With a bang, the residue water drops sprayed from the bottle and splashed onto the surface of Qiao Hongye’s desk, nearly scaring her senseless.
Since the initiative was taken, the other students suddenly began to throw trash, and before long, Qiao Hongye’s desk was covered in a myriad of fruit peels, water, and toilet paper, causing her desk to become so dirty that she began shaking.
No matter how dumb she was, she was able to tell that something was wrong. Her classmates used to treat her so well that even if there was a conflict, the other party would usually be the one apologizing. Something like this had never happened before.
For Xin Xin to set herself against Qiao Hongye was acceptable, but Zhang Hao wasn’t doing anything? Why wasn’t Dong Yi stepping in to help her? And the rest of her classmates—they weren’t like this before. Could it be that they were playing an April Fools joke on her? But the school year had started quite a while ago, and April Fools had long passed!
Qiao Hongye could only stand helplessly by her desk, watching her classmates regard her with disdainful glares, making her feel as though she was living a nightmare. No one was willing to talk to her, so she was kept in the dark about what was going on.
Time passed very slowly, and the scene ended only after the teacher arrived. The teacher looked upon Qiao Hongye fondly, so after she shed a few tears of complaint, Xin Xin was, of course, punished. However, this didn’t mean Qiao Hongye had achieved victory, because her tattletaling had incurred further hate from her classmates.
Isolation in school is extremely dreadful, Jing Yunzhao knew this from personal experience. Regardless of what she did, she would always be alone. She would have to keep an eye out for troublemakers who might use her bookbag to play pranks on her. While walking, she would have to worry about whether or not someone would come and trip her. Practically every minute, she would have to be on guard against the other students. Perhaps to others, their actions were trivial, but to the victim, it was equivalent to feeling as though the world had abandoned them.
Except this time, the abandoned one was Qiao Hongye.
Class 2 was right next door, so anything that happened in Class 1 was immediately transmitted to Class 2. Needless to say, Jing Yunzhao also heard about Qiao Hongye becoming everyone’s new target, and she felt the tight knot in her heart instantly unravel.

“ Don't give up on us ”
The Favored Genius Doctor and Businesswoman - Chapter 111 - Flower Protector (护花使者)
Now that the wool was no longer pulled over their eyes, the two realized that Qiao Hongye wasn’t who she’d portrayed herself to be. Subsequently, their feelings toward Jing Yunzhao grew somewhat complicated.
Previously, they had regarded Jing Yunzhao as a bad person and felt no shame when bad-mouthing her. Now, however, they couldn’t help but feel guilty.
Two or three more female students also happened to discover Qiao Hongye’s pictures, though compared to Zhang Hao and Dong Yi, they felt more deceived and betrayed rather than dejected.
As girls, they had liked Qiao Hongye because she appeared kind and pure. However, today, several people witnessed her true nature; she was a wolf in sheep’s clothing. This caused complicated feelings to arise in all of their hearts. Now, not only did they decide to completely sever their so-called friendships with her, but they also began to harbor some disgust, as well.
Moreover, under Qiao Hongye’s influence, these girls had developed the bad habit of bad-mouthing others, so in their anger, they broadcasted the entire matter immediately after reaching the school.
This gossipy trait of theirs was precisely the reason why Jing Yunzhao had sought them out. She had made her move, and even if Qiao Hongye’s ‘flower protectors’ jumped in to clear up the situation, it would prove difficult for Qiao Hongye to continue to freely spread rumors about her.
Qiao Hongye attended school as usual, dressed in a pure and refreshing outfit, with her straight hair draped over a shawl; the epitome of an obedient girl.
She never liked arriving at school early because she preferred to be the center of attention as she walked to her spot, and today, it was no different. Unfortunately, due to her tardiness, how could she have known that by then everyone in her class had learned of her glorious affair?
As soon as she sat down, she subconsciously reached into her desk to pull out something from inside, but her hand was only met with emptiness. She fell into a state of slight confusion. Every morning, Zhang Hao and Dong Yi would put a carton of milk inside her desk. Why wasn’t there one today? Did they forget?
Qiao Hongye was a bit disappointed, but concealed her emotions as she turned to her deskmate, “Xin Xin, later, help me tell Zhang Hao and Dong Yi that they don’t have to deliver milk everyday, one bottle is already quite expensive…”
At the side, Xin Xin shot her a contemptuous look. How come she couldn’t see through Qiao Hongye’s two-faced antics before?! Sure enough, those in love were blind, and those immersed in friendship were similarly blind!
“Hongye, before you got here, Zhang Hao and the rest told me they had already drank the milk themselves. If you want to drink milk, then go buy some yourself,” she responded impassively. Having said that, she shoved her things to one side to prevent Qiao Hongye from touching them.
Just imagining this seemingly innocent Qiao Hongye on the streets, boldly fooling around with guys, made her feel nauseous. She used to walk hand-in-hand with Qiao Hongye; who knows if she might find a rash breaking out there?
Qiao Hongye felt shocked in her heart and was somewhat at a lost. “Xin Xin, what are you saying? Did I accidentally do something to make you mad?”
Before her deskmate could even open her mouth, Qiao Hongye suddenly spoke as if enlightened, “I know, did your parents get into another quarrel? Don’t feel sad anymore, the matters of adults aren’t things we can control. They’re very complicated anyways. Even if your parents start arguing and decide to divorce later, they will always love you. Right now, you just need to focus on being a carefree student!”
Although Qiao Hongye was dissatisfied, she still spoke in accordance to her usual mannerism.
“Qiao Hongye!” Her deskmate slammed her hand against the table and said, “What does my parents’ relationship have anything to do with you? They’re just quarreling, is there a need for you to give them a talking-to? You’ve even brought up divorce! You just don’t feel comfortable seeing others happy, do you?!”

Space and Rebirth: The Favored Genius Doctor and Businesswoman - Chapter 110 - Receiving A Slap From Reality (被现实扇了一巴掌)
These two hooligans were also very good at holding back, knowing when to not cross the line and overdo things. They took the photos with them as they left merrily, having finished saying their fill, as if nothing had happened before.
The believers left behind, Zhao Hao and Dong Yi, these two boys, stared at each other with their eyes wide.
“I- I’m not dreaming right?” Zhang Hao exclaimed with a stupid look on his face.
Dong Yi opened and closed his mouth a few times before he responded, “Actually it would be better if we were dreaming, but it’s not the case… Qiao Hongye she… she’s completely different from what we thought…”
The Qiao Hongye of their memories was similar to a pool of spring water. She always spoke with a supple and soft voice, and her eyes held a thick layer of sweetness. Whenever people looked into her eyes, they would find themselves lost and have the urge to gift her the best of everything they owned.
Her grades were excellent, her appearance was excellent, her temperament was excellent, her character was also excellent. Everything was as if she was a character sculpted from a novel. Being with her always lacked the feeling of reality, but it made people feel relaxed and happy.
Zhang Hao and Dong Yi had a relationship that was good enough for them to call each other brothers. Of course, they both knew that the other liked Qiao Hongye. But in order to avoid giving Qiao Hongye any problems, the both of them had even decided to fight fairly, longing for the day where they would win this beautiful play of first love. So much so that they had even thought of which University they would apply for with Qiao Hongye to become the perfect couple that everyone would be jealous of.
Unfortunately, reality gave them two tight slaps.
The actions shown in the pictures were things that they didn’t even dare to think of because they always felt that it would be blasphemy towards their goddess. It would corrupt this pure love that they had towards her, turning it into something that was ugly and perverted.
The two felt as if they had lost their souls. Instead of believing that Qiao Hongye was this kind of person, it would be infinitely better for them to believe that she got together with one of their brothers. At least in the latter situation, their goddess was still clean.
“What now? Do you still want to continue wooing her?” Zhang Hao suddenly asked after they had walked for a long while. They were about to enter the school’s compounds through the main gate in front of them.
Dong Yi shook his head, “I don’t know, I just can’t accept this side of her. Didn’t you hear the two just now? Qiao Hongye had even broke someone’s leg before … Oh yeah, do you still remember Zhou Chengzhe from Class 3? He had already liked Qiao Hongye when he just started his first year in high school. He wrote love letters and sent her lunch boxes every day, he even asked people like us to stay further away from Qiao Hongye. He declared that Qiao Hongye was his girlfriend in front of a lot of students, but not long after, he got beat up by a bunch of hooligans. The culprits were never caught…”
“I remember him. That leg of his was injured very badly and he had to recuperate at home for many months. He came back limping with every step he took. Almost everyone laughed at him for being lame behind his back, and he couldn’t accept the setback so he quit school ...…” Zhang Hao smiled bitterly.
“There’s also Jing Yunzhao… Qiao Hongye has always put on a very concerned face for her in front of us, but in reality, she actually found someone to rob Jing Yunzhao. No matter what, Jing Yunzhao was still a girl. If something were to happen, then what?” Dong Yi added on.
After this little discussion, the two suddenly felt that certain things had broken through the ground and revealed itself.
Like why Jing Yunzhao would always speak coldly whenever she saw Qiao Hongye. Or why the school agreed for Jing Yunzhao to leave the Qiao family’s home. Or why there were bad rumours of Jing Yunzhao floating around...
They were the people closest to Qiao Hongye and they were more clear than anyone that many things were accidentally spurted out by Qiao Hongye.
But they trusted Qiao Hongye, and thus they felt even more strongly that the things that Jing Yunzhao did were always more preposterous than what Qiao Hongye had said. But in reality? They knew nothing. In fact, for the sake of helping Qiao Hongye vent her anger, they had purposely exaggerated things and wronged Jing Yunzhao.

Foreverhungry has spoken:
“ i don't know what i'm doing
but i'll just do it my pace “
Space and Rebirth: The Favored Genius Doctor and Businesswoman - Chapter 109 - Collapsed/Shattered Goddess (女神破灭)
The more he thought about it, the angrier Qiao Weimin got, but he didn't know where Jing Yunzhao was staying, so he was as anxious as ants on a hot pan. He was deathly afraid that the next time he met Jing Yunzhao, the Ginseng would already be gone.
Qiao Hongye sighed in relief after she managed to successfully conceal the facts from Qiao Weimin. She murmured, “Dad, I have no more money.”
Her money had all be taken away from her by the man just yesterday. There was nothing left of her living fees for next week.
“No more money?! Just what the hell did you buy outside, didn't I just give you money two days ago?!” Qiao Weiming was becoming more and more disappointed in this daughter of his. He kept having the feeling that the one in front of him and the impression he had of her from the past was totally different.
Since Ye Qin passed away, their family had become less and less like he wished. There was not a single peaceful day for him left. It seems like the household indeed cannot do without a mistress!
Qiao Hongye lowered her head, “I… I lost the money…”
She didn’t dare tell the truth. If she did and her dad decided to cause a disruption, the one who would lose face would be herself.
Qiao Weimin choked down his stomach full of anger. Losing money at such a time, she really was too unlucky. No wonder she couldn’t get any benefits from Jing Yunzhao!
Qiao Hongye had been spoiled ever since she was young, so she rarely suffered any grievances. But nowadays, because of Jing Yunzhao, she kept getting scolded every few days. Her heart was already in a state of disequilibrium early on, and right now, all she could think of was to embarrass Jing Yunzhao even more in school!
Unfortunately, right now, Qiao Hongye still wasn’t aware that the one to be embarrassed was her own self.
Hua Zei was extremely reliable in dealing with matters. Thanks to the information Jing Yunzhao had provided, Hua Zei's men could directly wait on the road that those aforementioned students took to school.
“Take a look… Tsk tsk tsk, this girl is still so young, but who would’ve thought that she would have such guts. She should still be a student right?”
“This is Yizhong’s student. Her outer appearance looks to be clean and refreshing, but behind people’s backs she’s actually so wanton!” Another hooligan spoke.
On the side were two students walking shoulder to shoulder. One was called Zhang Hao, the other was Dong Yi. Both of them were part of Qiao Hongye’s loyal Flower Protectors, they were also Qiao Hongye’s classmates.
The two originally did not notice the item in the hands of the people beside them, but when they heard the words “Yizhong’’, they couldn’t resist turning their heads.
Only to see one of the two hooligans stomp on the other’s feet, suddenly tripping, and ‘coincidentally’ dropping the photos in his hands across the ground.
The two students originally helped them pick up the photos with a kind and curious attitude, but in the split second their eyes swept across them, they were instantly struck dumb.
“Isn’t this Qiao Hongye…” The boy named Zhang Hao couldn’t resist speaking out.
This was their goddess, they would absolutely not mistaken her for someone else!
“Yo~? You guys know this woman ah?” The hooligan immediately casted a gaze onto the two, sizing them up, before he spoke again. “Does this girl act really easy in school?”
Zhang Hao rushed to shake his red face, “No, Qiao Hongye is very gentle and sensible ...”
“Just based on appearance alone, she’s actually quite gentle, but I reckon that has nothing to do with being sensible. Let me tell you, these photos were taken by a group of our brothers who accidentally came across this scene. They saw that this girl’s looks weren’t bad, and felt that using the photos for eye candy once in a while was not a bad idea. Seeing you look like that, it seems like you’re quite interested in it too. Here, I’ll give it to you to take a look…” The hooligan spoke again.
Each and every picture was distinctly arranged before their eyes.
Some photos were only of her and another guy kissing by the roadside, but there were also those where their clothes were disheveled. With just one glance, it was obvious as to what they were doing!
Zhang Hao and Dong Yi’s started breathing anxiously, unwilling to believe everything in front of their eyes. Especially that one photo at the back where she walked into a hotel with a man. It made them so miserable that they couldn’t catch their breath.
Who didn’t like someone like Qiao Hongye?
“Enough, give them back to me once you’ve finished looking …” The hooligan took back the photos, reminding the two as he gave them a glance. “This girl is quite skillful. There’s some amongst our brothers that know her, and they all said that her methods are brilliant. She let a few of our bros do things for her willingly, and even broke some guy’s leg. Oh yeah, she even robbed her own sister. In my opinion, it’s better if you two stay further away from her …”
