Welp, I spoke too soon.

Turns out even though I moved out, the old house drags the past behind us. We have some unpaid bills after the mom died. I'm a disabled trans woman who can't work. I had to move in with my brother and his gf - he's the only one who earns a full wage, his gf is paid quarter of minimum wage because she's disabled. Everyone in household has mental health problems for that matter.

Between water bills (503 PLN), property taxes (338 PLN), negative bank balance (728 PLN and 146 EUR), last internet bill (145 PLN), internet cancellation fee (1152 PLN) we have... a lot on our plate. Total 3488 PLN, which is easily entire monthly paycheck for one person. And only one person in this house earns a full paycheck.

That's 837 US Dollars.

If you can help at all, anything will be appreciated. I hate that I have to ask for help again, but also I can't leave my brother alone with these costs.

In a small corner of Gaza, where the lights fade and darkness falls, Mahmoud sat alone, thinking. He was a young man like any other, dreaming of a better future, a safe home, and a job that would provide him and his family with a decent life. But the dream turned into a nightmare, and life into a daily struggle for survival.

Mahmoud's family, which includes 43 members, lived under the burden of siege and war. They lost their homes, and watched their dreams fade before their eyes. Every day was a new challenge, searching for a living amidst the lack of water and electricity, and the fear of bombing that could come at any moment.

"I saw hope in the eyes of my children, but the siege was taking it away from them little by little," Mahmoud says sadly. "They wanted to play in the streets, and go to school, but all that surrounded them was destruction and fear."

Mahmoud's dream now is simple, to get his family out of this hell, and to start a new life in a safe place. But the costs of migration are high, and far beyond their means.

Noha is a story of courage and determination. She reminds us that disability is not a barrier, and that anything is possible if you are determined enough.

Little Majd needs your help

Majd Al-Habeel @youseffamily has known little of life without suffering. After losing his home to IOF bombardment, he and his parents were forced to live in a tent. This wreaked havoc on Majd’s health, as he is diagnosed with a serious respiratory illness that limits his ability to breathe. Living in a tent leaves one exposed to dust, dirt, debris, vermin, mold, fungus, and harsh weather—the worst possible environment for a child with his condition.

His family requires mutual aid to provide for Majd’s life-saving care, as well as to procure food, water, medications, other supplies, and clothing and gear for winter. I try hard and struggle to get my family of 7 people out of Gaza to safety

Since the beginning of the war💔, my family and I have been suffering greatly from life. There is no clean water or healthy food. We try with all our energy to endure this life, but there is no life here.

Unfortunately, we were not able to leave here because the crossing was closed, but we are trying to collect money to buy supplies, and when the crossing opens, we will leave here to safety.

I am Ahmed Halas from the besieged North Gaza, I have created my campaign to help my family and save them from the suffering they are living. Our lives, hopes and ambitions have been destroyed, our livelihood has been destroyed, we have lost dear friends and many relatives, our house has been completely destroyed, we live in a plastic tent in the middle of an UNRWA school and we suffer from the heat of the sun which causes headaches, migraines, body allergies and many diseases. There is no food, water, medicine or basic life requirements and the prices are terribly high, we cannot afford to buy anything.

In the meantime, this fundraising campaign has been started so that people can donate so that we can regain momentum in case the unfortunate circumstances cannot be fixed. Ahmed Halas and his family have already registered and are likely to be called to leave soon. This money is for their evacuation. Let's aim to evacuate them all together!!!
