time to HALT!
(i learned this in a caregiving class but it's useful in most situations i've been in, like not to be neurodivergent on main but sometimes you feel Bad and can't work out why)
Hungry? eat something*.
Angry? count to ten, take a deep breath, and walk away from it if you can.
Lonely? interact with another person that you aren't responsible for.
Tired? take five minutes to sit with your eyes closed.
also i bet your drink is going cold.
( ˘ ³˘)♥
*(if you're not allergic, a spoonful of nut butter and a glass of liquid will keep you going, but the only bad calorie is the one you don't have when you need it.)

i've had a crush on my childhood bestfriend since we were kids (both afab), and when we were 13 we both confessed to eachother. we arent allowed to date, so nothing really happened. however, i came out as genderfluid a little while after, and i was so scared that she would hate me or not like me, but she accepted me, and refers to me as her partner :)

what a beautiful thing, to be queer. how lovely it is to be strange, to have edges that spill out over the lines, to be undefinable. the oddity of our hearts is something to be treasured. never change for anyone.

Hey! I have a cute story of how I met my boyfriend (we’re both trans guys). I met him on the first day of school when I fell over my own feet and dropped everything. He helped me pick it up and I was smitten. Later that day I asked “hey do you have a phone number?” Because I’m smooth like that. He did, and I got his number. I asked him out a week later and we’ve been dating ever since.

alright, so my siblings friend had such a good meet cute that I just HAD to share!! basically, he was on a bike and accidentally rammed straight into someone, and they both got badly injured. he thought the person wasn't going to be nice to them, but they ended up becoming best friends! they both transitioned while they were friends with eachother and helped one another, and now they're dating :)

I want to submit a story I wrote. It's told admittedly from the perspective of a cis girl, but the love interest is a trans girl like me. I was actually inspired to write the story and start my blog for it and similar stories after reading the original Meet Cute Diary book by Emery Lee. My blog is called "Our Queer Corner", and I just want to submit the story I have on it.
Noël
It was June Graduation Day 2017. I watched as my elder sibling, Maren Lee, walked across the stage. They were followed by a bunch of students whose names I kinda dozed off on… James Lewis, Carrington Malt, Courtney Mayer, Jude McColt, Anthony Meyers, Lucas Mill, Joshua Morris, Emory Muse, Orel Nasser, Samuel Nelson, Alina Nichols, Spencer Norman, Quincy Nunn, and Leona Orkins. But then SHE walked across the stage: Ashley Parker. Ashley wasn’t someone I was interested in; in fact, I didn’t really like her that much at all. But she’d prove more important than I thought.
Ashe and my sibling were good friends. Maren is a bit more of a calm, relaxed type of person, and they don’t mind being away from the action. Ashe, on the other hand, is everywhere: she loves being the center of attention, she’s wild, eccentric, and always peppy, which is probably why I didn’t like her at first. I didn’t know at the time that Ashe had a younger brother - or rather sister. I mean, I took two classes with the girl, sure, but we never really talked all that much, nor did we have any mutual close friends - well, except for one: Coriander Edwards. She was in three of my classes and four of Ashley’s sister’s, and one of those. At the time, Ashe’s sister wasn’t out publicly yet, but she did tell Coriander, and she was introducing herself as female to any new people she met. She wasn’t closeted, she just hadn’t told everyone. Cori, who thought Ashe’s sister and I might become good friends, said to me, “Hey, there’s this girl in one of our classes, maybe you should talk to her.”
Now, anyone knows that you don’t just walk up and talk to someone, it ain’t that simple. So I, dismissively, suggested that she get all of us to meet up somewhere outside of school. Cori, having the nerve that she does, decided to take my sorry behind seriously and got me and all our girls up - and our guy friend, Jude Payne - to meet up at the waterpark that Saturday, along with Maren, Ashe, and of course, Ashe’s younger brother - sister. There were about ten of us: Me, Maren, Cori, Leroia and Larissa McAlister, Sparrow Davis, Hayleigh Johnson, Jude, Ashe, and of course, Ashe’s younger “brother”, Michael Parker.
Without even saying the “b” word, Ashe tried to introduce her sister as Michael, which got shut down really quickly. The sister spoke up quickly, not angrily but rather jokingly, “Ashley, you idiot! My name is Noël!” to which Ashley instantly replied “Girl, you ain’t ever tell me you were ready to come out! I’m sorry!”
Then Noël and I started talking, hit it off, had a lesbian bonding session, and had a fun day at the waterpark.
That’s how I met my wife.

I have a crush on my bsf. It's so cliche but like their so pretty. We've already dated once and I ended it but I was not mentally ready. Now I am but I know they probably won't take me back. It's a whirlwind at this point but I really like them.

It's okay if you experimented with gender and realized you were cis.
It's okay if you experimented with your sexuality and realized you were straight.
It's okay if you experimented with gender expression and decided to lean more into your expected gender expression.
It's okay if you try things and find that you're most comfortable with what you had before. That's why it's called experimenting.

Book Rec #1
Title: Between Perfect and Real
Author: Ray Stoeve
Category: trans
Summary: When Dean, a closeted trans boy, is chosen to play Romeo in the high school play, Dean realizes he wants everyone to see him as he really is now––not just on the stage, but everywhere in his life.
TW: transphobia, bullying, unsupportive parents
This book was really enjoyable, and although it can't speak to everyone's experiences it's spoken to mine, and it was generally a good read!! It's well-paced with characters you'll love, and Dean is just... he's lovely.
I enjoyed this book greatly, and it's a great read. This book is available on Libby, and I first discovered it at my local library!!
If anyone has/does read this book, feel free to send an ask over with your thoughts on it!! I'd love to hear more!!

Me (transfem) and a kid (transmasc) in elementary school had a horrible, long, academic feud all throughout elementary and most of middle school, even before the 1st day of kindergarten- we met at registration- until zoning got changed before 8th grade.
We did end up going to the same high school through! We became very good friends while both of our grades plummeted bc Gifted Kid Burnout ™
We are dating now, 11th grade, and have been since mid summer <3 to me, it all seems very cute in retrospect, seeing as we were so tiny but so angry about times tables
