It's absurdly stupid.. basically our schedule for the semester stays the same every week... weekend day shifts are very chill and fun and usually given to seniors... my sophomore coworker got one such shift last semester, but for this semester it was given to me (senior).. for some reason this was extremely offensive to her so she bitched out my other coworkers who make the schedule on her story.. they ofc saw that and told our rly strict boss and she's mad af.. and now they're planning on talking to her tmrw to potentially fire her? But she's very popular so the entire staff is like divided into two camps. It's literally so dumb

Ok so i forced my undergrad thesis advisor to let me continue writing into the second semester, so she made me register for the only thesis course she's teaching which is for the international studies major (i'm a history major). and it was humiliating going around the room and sharing our topics w everyone. bc ppl were all like..... oh I'm writing about migrants in latin america... oh I'm writing about the politics of foreign adoption... oh I'm writing about fascism in European political parties..... ok i'm writing about medieval anchoresses. changing the world
